"I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! "Arrived and were able to check in an hour earlier, we were shown to our room, and windows had been opened to allow the heat to escape. Amazing views. Room very clean and everything you need, water great selection of teas and coffees, and more importantly a fan. Great quirky pub to enjoy a drink and meal. Very friendly staff and other guests and locals very friendly. Great puppy cuddles with Angus a huge bonus. Would definitely stay again."
