Beautiful Condo & Spectacular Pool, Perfect for Beach Lovers: Island Paradise

A true ”Island Paradise” is only available here at the Purple Parrot Village Resort in Perdido Key, Florida!!! This stunning One Bedroom Villa has been furnished with a stylish West Indies-décor that is second to none. This one-bedroom condo is equipped with a king size bed, has high-speed wireless internet connection, and plenty of entertainment for those family nights. This lower level condo is conveniently located in the second row of poolside villas which provides easy access for loading and unloading your luggage. ”Island Paradise” is the ideal villa for your island resort getaway as it is footsteps from the exciting 5,000 square foot/150,000 gallon outdoor oasis swimming pool and Tiki bar. Guests of PKRM enjoy complimentary excursions like Free golf, Deep sea fishing charters, Dolphin cruises, Nature Cruises and/or OWA Amusement park tickets. There is a lot to do and see in this laid-back, small beach community but the most popular attraction is indisputably the azure colored water of the Gulf of Mexico with squeaky-clean white sand beaches just a short 0.5 mile away. Certain parts of the year require a minimum number of nights to be booked online. If you are having difficulties booking your reservation, or do not find any available properties that meet your vacation criteria, please feel free to call our office and we will do our best to accommodate your vacationing needs.

~ The Purple Parrot Tiki Bar & Grill will be closing seasonally this year for the cooler months and will not reopen until February 6, 2026. The pool and other amenities will remain open and available for guest and owner use. The apartment was clean and just like the photos. The property was properly situated, pool nearby. It was easy to find and communication with personnel and support needa was quick fast! I did expect to be closer to the base as it mentioned 12 mins. If traveling for Naval base purposes allow yourself more like 20-25 mins. Otherwise all was great and convenient store nearby.

Community Pool and Tiki Bar are a Plus - Location was Isolated

The condo was nice and quiet with easy access to the community features but limited attractions and beach access within walking distance. Uber, Lyft, and Taxi's were difficult if not impossible to book. Check in involved going to a different location and property management availability is limited to Mon-Fri.

Not what I expected.

They list as being in Pensacola however it’s not close to Pensacola or Pensacola Beach. There’s not much to do on Perdido island as far as touristy stuff, ran it up driving to Orange Beach the second day and then drove to Pensacola Beach the third day. The apartment we were in was beautiful and clean! We were disappointed in the pool it was not very clean and we had to skim it several times ourselves! We did enjoy it and the atmosphere at the pool but beyond that there was not much to do . We did have one problem with our neighbors smoking pot and it filled our unit up making me very ill the first day. I attempted to contact the managing company and the owner and never received a response back from the owner at all. I actually had messaged him twice through the process and never heard from him at all. The beach is not truly walkable from the property especially if you have small kids. If you’re looking for a stay at the resort type place and not branch out it’s a great place. If you’re looking for shopping and entertainment and restaurants that’s pretty far from those types of things.

Beautiful and family friendly location

The house was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the location of the house within the resort. Close to the pool but far away enough from the band playing late at the Tiki Bar. The grounds outside were a little dirty with litter and our house was only furnished with one garbage bag. All and all we enjoyed our stay.

Although the room itself was well appointed with nice furnishings, the drive into the property was riddled with potholes. You had to bounce through the complex to get to your room. Even with the nice furnishings the air was stale in the room, complete with a couple of dead roaches. It took a while to get used to the rattle in the AC too.

Best vacay in a long time.

Truly a vacation. Rested, relaxed no running around. Totally enjoyed myself, lazy days by the pool, tiki bar easy access. Enjoyed the live music at night. One bedroom condo perfect for us, my husband had to wait 2 days to get cable connection fixed but was only glitch. Great vacation.
