"Upon checking in was greeted by an unfriendly team member who was not welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel so we had to take our luggage down stairs and then upstairs which was horribly inconvenient. The room was ok but with no air conditioning it was much hotter inside than it was outside. There was a fan in the room that could have been turned on for us but wasn’t. There was only one towel in the bathroom, so my husband and I had to share as when we realized it was too late to request...

"Perfect location for exploring Helvellyn. Staff were attentive and friendly. We took our dog with us and they looked after all of us.
Pub had great atmosphere. Would stay here again."
