"Comfortable bed, lovely towels, great breakfast, wonderful hosts. Nice view of loch from breakfast room."

"Staff were great food was really good"

"Room was a bit dusty staff were friendly and helpful"

"Staff lovely, breakfast delicious, location - superb view. Parking easy. Pretty walks."

"Perfectly serviceable budget room, small but comfortable enough. Clean. The main problem was noise - walls are paper thin and you'll need ear plugs even if people aren't particularly rowdy. Floor above my room creaked loudly all night with people just walking about. Didn't get much sleep. I'd also not recommend the food - worst I've had in a long time. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"We loved it here. The decor was on point. Little disappointed check out was 10am but that's just because we wanted to spend more time there. Excellent location for the town and nearby shops etc. 10 out of 10 for kerplunk being available! Thanks!"

"Enjoyed having breakfast & being able to look out to the shoreline. Plus, easy access to the local area. Ray & Jackie are very welcoming hosts!"

"We had a lovely stay and the place was gorgeous… restaurant food needs an upgrade as breakfast was rather basic"

"We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The property was so dirty hairs on the bed before we got in there tears in the pillows, mold all over the tubs and shower walls and floor. The stairway was super grubby. There was a brown red smudge on the wall in the bathroom with the staff was very nice and friendly, but tried to grab a manager to get a refund and no one was available. Emailed nobody is available called. Nobody was available. I don’t see us getting a refund even for the night we didn’t stay. We are allergic to mold and mildew....

"Minor cleaning issues but host was very quick to respond...Excellent View and Size was superb, Definitely will revisit...Dunoon was Magical....xo..."

"The location was magnificent. The views were incredible. The host was very friendly and helpful with what to do tips. The breakfast was delish."

"Lots of character, dining excellent, breakfast less so with limited range of non cooked foods."

"Good location - easy walk to the loch and a restaurant next door. Room felt a bit dated and shabby - there were no luggage racks, the window wouldn’t open, the main light didn’t work. Staff were efficient and friendly. Fine for one night. Note: you need to put your room key in a wall slot to get electricity in the room."
