"Clean comfy room, good breakfast, lots of choice."

"Delux room with Loch views was amazing. Comfortable bed and linens. Well kept furnishings. Enjoyed the window facing chairs for hours of counting waves. Very walkable to town. I was without a car. Flat walk to shops and restaurants."

"After an issue with VRBO, we were given this hotel as an alternative accommodation. It was extremely expensive for what is essentially a very cheap, outdated, and poorly maintained hotel. We were given a room for four people with two small beds, and we could barely sleep. All we wanted was to get through the night and leave as quickly as possible. It is disgraceful that VRBO would offer such a hotel as an alternative, especially at such an inflated price. This experience was completely...

"Room was clean and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was huge and delicious."

"We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Delightful. The hostess goes out of her way to assist walkers. Little things, like putting transferred luggage into guests’ rooms, mean such a lot at the end of a long day’s walking. Delicious scones on arrival and very nice breakfast. Lots of tips for the West Highland Way."

This means windows can’t really be opened for very long and temperate more difficult to control. The Expedia listing promised an on-site EV charger, which was...

"Comfortable bed, lovely towels, great breakfast, wonderful hosts. Nice view of loch from breakfast room."

"Ended up not being able to visit and they refused to refund any of the money, even though they had a weak notice that we were not going to be able to attend. Horrible people to deal with extremely rude. Do not recommend."

"Such a unique place to stay, and exactly what I wanted. It’s built on stilts into the side of a hill, just above a fabulous Inn. Walking distance (400m ish) from Lochawe train station. It’s not a hotel, so for the nightly cost if you want a hotel this isn’t it. But the view and location if you want to be at peace, in nature with the most incredible views and backdrop, this is it. Very comfortable beds, quiet, fantastic warm shower. Everything we needed (and I’d packed things expecting it to be...
