This comfortable & quiet apartment is located in a stone building and is very calm as it gives on 2 private courtyards. It is a very family oriented area.
This 65m² apartment is set up for 2 couples or a family of 4.

Location is very well served by transport making it very practical to discover the city.

The district is close to Montparnasse, not far from the Luxembourg garden and saint Germain (2 subway station). One can find butcher shops, fish shop, wine merchant, bakery, cheese shop...everything needed to prepare nice homemade meals close by! All the area inhabitants go there for food shopping … and enjoying the coffee terraces in summer.

The apt entrance door gives on a corridor with the kitchen and dining area on the left. The living room and the bedroom are located on the right. All areas are covered with a nice wooden floor except the ceramic tiled kitchen and bathroom. There are windows on both sides, the apt is very bright.

• Living room offers a lounge area and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs. It bathes in natural light and has a fire place (not for use). For the night the living room can be converted into a second bedroom. The sofa opens up into a comfortable bed for two. As seen in the photos, the door of the living room can be closed, thus providing complete privacy.

• The master bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, a writing table and chair, and a wardrobe.

• Kitchen is in a separate room that opens into the dining room. the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and it offers a window that provides natural light. The dining area has a wooden table and can easily accommodate 4 persons.

• The windows in the apartment overlook a private courtyard and provide natural light. Wooden floors give a warm feeling to those spacious and cosy rooms.

• Although not wide, bathroom offers a shower and sink. Toilets are separate (but inside the apt).

This is a classic Paris apartment in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris. Rue Daguerre has terrific permanent market shops and great local restaurants. If you are looking for a Paris stay away from the crowded tourist areas this is a great choice. Nearby Denfort Rochereau is a well connected Metro and RER train stop. The apartment is comfortable and bright with windows on front and back. It has one bedroom with double size bed, a comfortable lounge room, a modern kitchen and a large bright dining area. Lots of books and helpful Paris guide books and maps. Good wifi. Well equipped, but no condiments or other starter kitchen items except soap. Be aware, the apartment is three flights up a charming old style Parisian circular staircase- no elevator. Checkin was seamless - the listing agent’s rep met us at the apartment as arranged in advance. He was very helpful and quickly resolved some initial confusion with the door codes. I would definitely return here in the future, especially for the neighbourhood.

Very quiet, spacious, and great location

We very much enjoyed the apartment. It is relatively large for Paris, and the living room can easily function as a second, closed-off bedroom. The apartment faces two enclosed courtyards on opposite sides. It is thus very quiet and has great air circulation – tops in all of our rentals. Finally, it sits right at the end of one of the more interesting streets in Paris, the rue Daguerre, with many great boulangeries, pâtisseries, fromageries, boucheries, and poissonneries — not to mention cafés and grocery stores. I purposely wanted to stay near this street. All the good stuff and not many tourists. And because of the hidden nature of the apartment you get absolutely no street noise. The apartment is a bit older and you share creaking wood noises with your neighbors, and as others have mentioned you must navigate 3 flights of stairs (we’re in our late 60s and found it good exercise). We did have some minor communication issues with the host, both with booking and leaving. Had we received timely responses (or responses at all) it would have made life easier. Check-in was great.

Great Location. Quiet and Charming

We loved our recent stay. The apt is located on a busy street but it sets back across a courtyard and it is whisper quiet! 2 amazing features: located around the corner from the Metro, And across the street from the lovely rue Daguerre street market. This neighborhood has become one of our favorites! A short walk and you get to experience the magic of the Luxembourg gardens. Be sure you are ok with 3 flights of stairs with your luggage. You will be lost in the charm of Parisian life. :)

Authentic Parisienne experience!

We loved the apartment. Plenty of space for the three of us. The beds were comfortable and loved having the different venders and grocery store across the street!
