"This is a very old, historic hotel so I came to it with some skepticism. I had some family visiting from the East Coast and wanted to spend a few nights in San Francisco and usually stay in the large chain hotels. I wanted to do something out of the ordinary and this hotel looked very cool. I noticed it was built in 1908 and started to wonder about amenities and overall upkeep. "Got located to street side room with one parking garage(small car stall) unit 49 Overall room was okay. Some dirty door handles and kitchen utilities. Room it self was okay but the noise level and next door noise drove me crazy. Next door unit 50 looks like long term stay. Beer cans all over the haul way and cigarette butts every where. During sleep (late night) woke up to next doors noise. Some foul languages and cigarette smell would come in to our room I do not recommend this hotel to people...
