Beach Happy at Elis Apartments Unit 3

This is the perfect place to stay in Ocean City for a small group. My place is close to many local restaurants, bars, and businesses. It is about a 3-minute walk to the beach and/or boardwalk. This is a studio apartment with1 a full bathroom you'll have all the space you need. My place is good for couples, business travelers, and small groups. It's a great place to stay at the beach and is close to everything that you will want to do!
We are near the boardwalk and bay. The atmosphere is very safe and quiet around nigh time. There are countless restaurants, bars, amusement parks near the area. The best thing about our property that keeps our customers returning is the fact that we are a short walk from the beach! Large studio with kitchen, and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, and pans allowing our guests to save their hard-earned dollar eating in. With this studio and 1 full bathroom, you'll have all the space you need.
The office will be located on 12 Street, at the Wilmington Terrace Units. There, on 12th street, the guests will receive their keys and will make their payment for the stay. Pets are welcome upon request. There is $25 fee per pet per night applied. Guests under 25 must pay a $50 security deposit, per person. This will completely be refunded if the place is left clean and there are no damages to the apartment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards, money orders, cashier's checks, or cash at arrival. Extra guest is 20$ per night. Please note, guests must bring their own towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and toiletries, and top sheets. We provide pillows, pillow cases, blankets, mattress covers, and fitted sheets.

this place was not what it is in the photo. No king bed very dusty and moldy smelling. The cabinets looked like they were going to fall off the wall The outdoor eating space was a table with two chairs outside your room There were 7 rooms that were being rented out. We could not stay at this place due to my having an asthma attack as I walked in. Bathroom was in worse shape and we were told we could park our car on the front lawn because of so many cars parked in so called driveway which was a danger due to the fact it had two sections were gutted out and you could potentially fall

It was nice and cozy, but only a few channels of tv to watch, dishes were dirty i had to wash them before we could even use them. The people above us were very noisy, also....

Great stay

Nice place, comfortable, clean over all. Had a shower outside to wash off the sand so we didn't get it all over the inside. Was very quiet area for the most part and easy to get to. The owners are very nice people. It was easy to have my dog with us and take her out on the property. I would definitely book again with them.

Excellent Stay

Wanted an affordable place within walking distance to the Boardwalk and this place delivered. Owners are wonderful people and have done a good job making the place comfortable. It is just a few blocks from the Boardwalk near 8th street in a quiet neighborhood, the place is a bit tight but bed is very comfortable and most of the place is updated. Definitely would stay here again.

Horrible accommodations

My husband & I googled places that accepted pets (we have a labor doodle). We found the Elis apartments and initially booked the studio. We thought it was a cute little place close to the boardwalk and beach. Our granddaughter came to live with us a week before our trip so, we bought an air mattress since the studio only had the one bed. Fully planning to pay for the extra person. Upon arrival, we had to very carefully maneuver our car into the very tight parking spaces. The manager was very accommodating and eager to offer us the one-bedroom apt. upstairs. I asked how much more, and she replied with " I will make it very affordable for you but let's go up so you can see it'. We did and thought to ourselves, well at least it has a separate bed for our granddaughter. We decided to stay there assuming there would be no way we could get another place the day we arrived. After the first night, we had to get out of there. Knowing there was absolutely no way we could stay another night. The manager didn't supply any washcloths or towels, the bathroom had no place for toiletries, the sink was coming off the wall, the ceilings were slanted so much so that your head would hit them in the bedroom and living room. In fact, the living room area was so small the 3 cheap Chairs lined up against the wall you couldn't even sit in. The love seat was dirty and only 2 people could sit on it to watch the 5 channels the TV got. The kitchen area (part of the living area) was so small and outdated beyond belief that only one person could fit in at a time. The microwave didn't work and appliances we so bad you wouldn't even use them. The "closets" were not only small but smelled like an attic as did the entire apartment. Fortunately, after searching for over 2 hours that morning, we found the La Qunita hotel that had a vacancy and accepted pets. This place was not only clean but much closer to the boardwalk and beach. The accommodations were so much nicer, and it cost us less than the Elis apartments did. So, we booked it for the rest of our vacation and called Elena, the manager at Elis apartments to let her know we were leaving and why. Of course, she only offered to refund the cash we paid for the extra room back. Providing excuse after excuse as to why she wouldn't refund us anymore. DON.T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU JUST NEED A PLACE TO SLEEP. VRBO should not allow this on their site.

This was perfect for our needs. We were in town for the air show and needed a simple little place to sleep. We were out on the beach most of the time and didn’t spend much time in our room, so we didn’t need many things other than a bed and shower. This fit the bill nicely and was very affordable compared to the high hotel prices.

A few items need to be addressed.

Although the owners answered all questions and we're kind and helpful, a few items need to be addressed. There was no guest soap, no guest towels, and few accoutrements were offered. I.e. only 2 glasses for drinking, and a dirty towel on the floor for stepping out of the shower. No fault of the owners, however it was senior week and the noise in the next appartment was blaring. I will not stay here again.
