Welcome to “Simon’s Cottage”, a charming and simple summer house where parts of the movie Simon and the Oaks were filmed. The cottage is located only 20 metres from the sea, with its own small shoreline and jetty. Built in 1910, it offers a genuine atmosphere and space for 3 guests with one bedroom and one sleeping alcove. There is an outdoor toilet, a solar-heated outdoor shower, and a small garden with outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill. Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet close to nature and the sea.

Dogs are welcome, and the lovely view of the bay invites you to morning coffee in the sun and evening swims from the jetty.

From the cottage, it is just a short walk to the idyllic seaside village of Nösund, known for its restaurants, beaches, and cozy summer evenings. Visit Nösunds Havsbad or enjoy a meal in the beautiful garden at Nösunds gården.

For those who wish to explore more of Orust, there are many gems to discover such as Tavlebords Honey Farm, Hälleviksstrand, Käringön and Gullholmen. Try camel riding, walk the pilgrim trail, or rent a boat to discover your own coves. In Ellös, only 9 km away, you will find shops, cafés, and the lovely Fröken Trulls restaurant and garden shop where everything you see is for sale.



Good to know about this accommodation:

• A deposit of 1000 SEK will be reserved on your card upon arrival. The amount will be released within a week after check-out, provided that the house is left in approved condition after inspection.

• Bed linen and towels can be rented for 190 SEK/person and 60 SEK/person respectively.

• Final cleaning is not included in the price. Guests clean the house themselves, cleaning supplies are available.

• Electricity is included, charging electric cars is not allowed.

• Smoking is prohibited.

• Pets are allowed.

• Youth groups are not accepted and parties are not permitted.
