Had a great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The animals were very entertaining from the comfortable patio at the cottage. We would stay here again!

So charming!

Had a lovely few days at the cottage! Enjoyed the country setting and the animals. Well appointed and super cute cottage with everything we needed!

We had a lovely few days here recharging and enjoying the silence of the countryside. The cows in the pasture provided plenty of entertainment including a calf arriving on the second morning of our stay (seemingly healthy and up on its feet within a couple of hours). The cottage was adorable and we lacked for nothing. We enjoyed dinner at the local Crow and Gate Pub and another at the Bayview Brewing Co. in Ladysmith, as well as a day trip to Gabriola Island. This is a truly charming area of Vancouver Island and the Cottage on the Farm was a cozy home base for our explorations.

Go relax with cows!!

This place is amazing. The friendliness of all the animals on the farm, the dogs 😍, the hospitality, the thoughtfulness, all made this the perfect birthday getaway. Enjoying my morning tea while giving face scratches to a cow...there is nothing more awesome! I will definitely be back.

This was our second stay in the Cottage on the Farm.My husband has balance/mobility issues so the one step into the cottage and the one step inside the cottage made it quite easy for him to get around with the use of his forearm crutch. We enjoyed using the hot tub and very much appreciated the farm-fresh eggs left for us. We are looking forward to returning for another stay this summer!

Peaceful farm stay

The lovely farm setting and quiet area resulted in a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this property. The cozy and quaint cottage was nicely decorated in a farm and farm animal theme. The air conditioning was very much appreciated, as was the well-equipped patio area. Our hostesses were easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the bounty of fresh eggs, goat’s milk they left for us and cherries they allowed us to pick from their trees. We would live to return to this property!
