  • Esta hermosa villa soleada con orientación sur se encuentra en un exclusivo y cerrado domo de la colina y está perfectamente ubicado en la Costa Azul, cerca de la costa entre Niza y Antibes. El domaine está lleno de carácter tradicional y goza de una posición elevada sobre el valle de abajo. Tenemos una gran piscina compartida con impresionantes vistas del pueblo medieval de St Paul de Vence en una dirección y el mar en la otra. Es la base ideal para explorar la Riviera francesa y los pueblos perchés cercanos. Está a solo 10 minutos en coche del aeropuerto ya solo 15 minutos a pie del famoso pueblo de St Paul. Sin embargo, si bien la villa garantiza un fácil acceso a todo lo que Côte D'Azur tiene para ofrecer, su ubicación en un dominio tan bonito y tranquilo significa que al regresar de un día explorando, puede relajarse fácilmente y disfrutar de la maravillosa atmósfera provenzal ... .... ¡Perfecto! Nuestra villa dentro del dominio es una de un pequeño número de residencias privadas de una y dos habitaciones y se llama Mimosa Villa por los 2 árboles de mimosa que crecen allí. Tenemos jardines privados maravillosamente soleados orientados al sur con tres terrazas separadas, todas con impresionantes vistas del mar, Cap D'Antibes y el valle boscoso de abajo. Tenemos áreas de comedor y tumbonas ubicadas en todo el lugar que son perfectas para cenar al aire libre y tomar el sol. O si desea relajarse a la sombra, elija un lugar debajo de nuestro hermoso y viejo pino. Para desayunos soleados, la terraza del desayuno tiene una mesa de piedra única que una vez fue una piedra de molino de oliva y tiene capacidad para 8 personas cómodamente. Por la noche, las vistas de luces centelleantes a lo largo de la costa y de cielos estrellados también son espectaculares. ¡Todo hace que sea muy difícil salir!
    Dentro de la villa, grandes puertas francesas tanto en la sala de estar como en el dormitorio principal se abren a los balcones para que las maravillosas vistas también se puedan disfrutar allí. Acabamos de agregar una hermosa cocina nueva con todos los equipos modernos y hemos remodelado y redecorado las áreas de estar y comedor para que sean lugares encantadores para relajarse y leer o escuchar música o ver películas, lo que tu corazón desee. Con 2 habitaciones dobles, ambas con baño de gran tamaño, la villa Mimosa puede alojar cómodamente hasta 2 parejas o familias de 4/5, ya que tenemos una cuna para niños muy pequeños o el sofá cama proporciona un espacio adicional útil para dormir.

Wonderful villa, with amazing views neat Saint Paul de Vence.

We had a wonderful stay here as a family. Beautiful accomadation that has a garden with stunning views across the hills. Large communal swimming pool and a 20 minute uphill walk to the town, with lots of restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Enjoyed the beautiful view over the Code D‘Azur from the Terrasse. In the House and garden you find everything you need in a lovely ensemble of History and new.

A unique, charming 2 bedroom 2.5 bath villa with amazing views, great outdoor areas, and an easy drive to many charming villages. The villa was well equipped and the owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful spot and so many home comforts

The Villa is really well appointed and has a lovely homely feel. Beds are so comfortable and we loved the fact that there are kitchen staples you can use and then add to. True hospitality. The pool was a great asset as it was very hot during our stay. We hired a car and so we’re able to drive to the village to go to one of the mss as my lovely restaurants. Defo recommend car hire - we had hoped to use public transport as we usually fo but this would have been difficult. So close to Nice airport too.

Wonderful home with great views!

My first impression was that if I were to buy a home in the Cote D'Azur, this would be it! Everything about it was lovely: the inside decor which was very comfy and stylish, too. The living room was very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The views were incredible: distant view of the ocean and hills. There was a washer and dryer, dishwasher, heated bathroom floors, etc. The owner was very responsive and welcoming. I highly recommend this home.

A great stay in Villa Mimosa

There is a reason there are so many five star reviews for Villa Mimosa—because they are well deserved. The owners and the local contact were very nice and accommodating. From restaurant recommendations to answering questions, they are very responsive. The location is great, a 20 minute walk or a few minute drive from St. Paul de Vence. Grocery store is very close. Villa is about 15 minutes from the airport. The villa is nicely furnished and very comfortable. It has a large outside patio with a great view. The photos are pretty accurate but it is nicer than they depict. It has a washer and dryer (although dryer is a condenser dryer so can be a little slow). It is very quiet. After a week stay, my wife and would not hesitate to return to Villa Mimosa, it is a lovely place.

A little piece of paradise in St Paul de Vence!What a beautiful provincial style property in a gorgeous area. The location is perfect with close proximity to the beautiful village of St Paul de Vence, shopping, art galleries, restaurants, and even a luxury spa. Such a comfortable space with gorgeous glass paned doors that open up with views of the valley, mountains, gardens and the sea. The height of the property makes for the amazing views, and the breeze coming through is quite spectacular. The decor is absolutely perfect for the area; very neutral with lots of charmand very comfortable furniture and beds. The layout is such that it is perfect for a group or a solo traveler thanks to the large and wonderful terrace overlooking the valley, gardens, and beautiful old stone houses. I did not need a car as I walked everywhere, however there is parking. The outside space is lovely, with just a few steps down to a common area where there is a grill and lounging as well as pétanque. Claire the owner was very communicative and responded to me right away, was very nice and friendly. The unit is very clean and spacious, fully equipped, and the glass doors are perfect to enjoy the views and breeze. This is an amazing property and highly recommend. This truly is a gem!

Beautiful apartment and location - make sure you read the fine print

This is a lovely and very well appointed apartment with access to a pool, a beautiful view and a great spot for enjoying all this stunning region has to offer. There is very long and detailed instructions for everything which I am sure appeals to some but I will admit that I lost interest after about 4 paragraphs of the many instructions. As a result I didn't remove the small bag of garbage under the sink so we were hit with further charges. We did otherwise leave the apartment perfectly clean and tidy so that was a pretty disappointing ending. I do find that there is always a decent cleaning fee added to bookings this practice pretty irritating but I guess that's why you check the fine print.

We absolutely adored this property. Perfect for the three of us, easy to work with the owner, perfect place to get to Cannes, Nice, Eze and Monaco. A must stay! Outstanding views.

Fabulous views and everything you could want in a vacation property!

The listing on Vrbo accurately described the villa. We loved the views and the reference book completed by Claire was so helpful. The outdoors seating was great and the place had everything that you need. The parking space is tight, as mentioned in the listing but we managed to fit a Peugeot station wagon in to the spot. Mini vans probably wouldn’t fit but other spots are available. Definitely would stay here again.

Spectacular villa with amazing views

What a superb villa with its amazing views and beautiful furnishings. Lots of wonderful touches such as the arrival food package. Claire was so helpful with plenty of communication and notes on the villa , all very thoughtful . We would love to stay again.

Mimosa is an exceptional villa with stunning views and located near many places of interest .

This was our 5 th time at the villa and our experience gets better every year . It is a real getaway tucked in a secluded domaine .

Lovely villa

Villa Mimosa was a great property, with lovely views and close to Saint Paul de Vence. It even has a pétanque court! Claire was extremely responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend it.

Superb Villa with every possible convenience catered for.

Having stayed at Villa Mimosa for eleven nights recently, we are struggling to find adequate superlatives to describe our stay. Probably most impressive is the raised location of all the living quarters affording an ever changing vista of the valley down to the sea. The villa is exceptionally well equiped and appointed. We spent an extremely comfortable and relaxing break. Claire is most excerised in receiving comments to improve her beautiful home for the enjoyment of guests, but we find it impossible to help in this regard. We still talk about our vacation and hope to return again soon if we can manage to get booked. Eileen and David

A truly wonderful villa.

We were utterly charmed by this wonderful villa just outside St Paul de Vence. It is clear from the quality of everything about this property that you are really being invited into someone's home. Open the shutters and drink in the view and you too will feel almost immediately at home. We were there for a long weekend in October and the weather was beautiful, the breeze gentle. Having arrived late the view didn't reveal itself until early the next morning and made all the better with welcoming croissants and coffee. Without exaggeration you could sit on the terrace all day. Beckoning and just minutes away, is the historic and beautiful town of St Paul de Vence. We loved it and wandered its ancient ramparts and narrow cobbles, later lunching at Cafe de Place and then dining in the evening at a rampart restaurant where the service and the food was delightful. The villa itself is in a gated area, just fifteen minutes from Nice airport, with key coded access leading to its hilltop location. There is a communal pool and patio area and other villas around though it is still very private. There are two double bedrooms and everything you would want in terms of kitchen, dishwasher, showers, tv, music system etc. The living room and front bedroom both look out onto the balcony, which in turn looks down onto a lower terrace and to the side of the villa is a lovely seated area. I think you can tell we were impressed. We did Antibe, Canne and Nice all of which are within a short distance by car and also minutes away are shops, a huge new shopping centre and supermarket. We have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property and even describing it doesn't do the actual experience justice.

Mimosa Villa - A slice of PARADISE on the Cote d'Azur!

We were very fortunate to stay one full month in September at the wonderful Mimosa Villa. From the moment we drove in the gates of Dumaine du Piol we felt at home. A lovely welcome of wine and cheese awaited us on the table so we could toast our vacation and relax after the flight. Since we arrived late at night, we had the pleasure of opening the shutters in the morning to reveal a most beautiful view of the hills, and the Mediterranean. The space around the villa was great as we had the terrace, a large back patio including a Boules court and a side patio with a table. Pride of ownership is evident in this Home Away. We were also able to enjoy the pool which was very close to the villa. The interior is decorated very tastefully, incorporating all the French touches that you would imagine. The kitchen was great to work in and the sitting area very comfortable. The bedrooms accommodated us very well. I cannot say enough about the responsiveness of Claire (owner) and Eva (local contact) before and during our stay. We frequented the local grocery store, Leclerc, which has a great selection if you are planning on preparing meals. We had a car which made trips for groceries and to all the towns and villages in the region easy. We did use Uber a few times as well, which was much more cost effective than local taxi cabs. The closest town, Saint Paul de Vence was just beautiful. We spent time there just sitting in the large cafe outside the Boules court enjoying our coffee, wine and the culture. One could never tire of that gorgeous view right through the French doors at Mimosa Villa.

Simply Perfect Getaway

Look no further than this perfect retreat! Located less than a 30 minute straightforward drive away from Nice airport, this property is everything you wished for and more. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need, it's elevated position and fabulous terraces provide you with the perfect oasis to relax and unwind with a glass of one of the local excellent rose wines whilst you soak up the sun and the beautiful landscapes. If you can manage to drag yourself away, the nearby town of St Paul de Vence has many exquisite shops and restaurants catering for all tastes. This beautiful medieval walled village is about 15 mins walk so leave your car at the Villa and enjoy a few glasses of wine while you watch the locals play boules in the square. St Paul de Vence has been the inspiration for many of France's most famous artists and a stay at villa Mimosa must involve a lunch at the famous Colombe d'or restaurant whose walls are adorned with Picasso and terrace an inspired Fernand Leger cermacic. Book this restaurant well in advance as it is sought out by many a celebtity. A google search will reveal that you are dinning where Sinatra, Monroe, Roger Moore and Bono have all been amongst other Hollywood icons. Vence is just a short car journey away and well worth a visit on market day. The Villa is perfectly situated to explore the best of the Cote de Sur and we found leaving the car at the station in Cagnes Sur Mer the most relaxing way to explore nearby Antibes and Cannes. Going in the other direction the beach at Villefranche Sur Mer is just a few steps from the station. Claire and Peter have left great recommendations for local supermarkets and sightseeing trips. Don't miss the Grimaldi Castle in nearby Cagnes Sur Mer. A truly beautiful Villa in the heart of the Riviera. You will be counting down the days to your next stay there. We can't wait to get back to this little oasis of luxury.
