Fall in love with this unique slice of paradise in the middle of Old Nice, one of the most enchanting neighborhoods of France. Unique, tastefully renovated and carefully decorated, this apartment will be your sweet home away from home while you discover the treasures of the French Riviera. Located on a very quiet street directly across from the chapel of Sainte Croix, and just a minute away from the bustling shops, restaurants and bars, a maze of streets and the charming energy of Vieux Nice.

The apartment is decorated with treasures I have found all over the world during my career in yachting. You will find that everything has been carefully designed to meet the needs and desires of my guests. You will be mesmerized by the Indonesian teakwood, Italian tiling, Persian and Turkish decorative accents and French neoclassical paintings throughout the space. Amenities are bountiful and if there s anything I have not provided, then I will make sure to put it on my list for your next stay.

Guests can access everything that the apartment has to offer, including a full chef s kitchen, washing machine, a beautiful bathroom reminiscent of a luxury hammam, a new plasma television, WiFi, Harman Kardon surround sound and an iMac desktop.

I will do my best to personally greet you upon check in and check out, as I live and work in Old Nice. It is important for me to interact with my guests and develop relationships with them, as hospitality is an innate passion of mine. I am here to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible.

The living room has a beautiful Roche Bobois sleeper sofa, and is quite comfortable from personal experience. So in essence, the place can sleep up to four guests quite comfortably.

The apartment was not clear to find. We had to try multiple doors on different floors to find the place. The owner did not reply to my question as to location for about an hour later. We were nervous getting our luggage up 2 floors of straight up stairs in the dim lit hallway. We sat on the bed in the main room and it was hard and lumpy. We decided this was an uncomfortable place and didn't want to fall straight down 2 sets of floors. We returned the key and notified the owner. We notified VRBO and both didn't not care to adjust the amount we paid. Total loss!

There was a really bad musty / damp smell on opening the door. It was its worst in the bedroom. The way the apartment is styled in the photos looks nice but is not at all the 'experience' of the appartment. It was actually really dark inside. There were dubious stains on the sheets on the bed also. My partner has asthma and we so we had to leave after just one night, move to a hotel and write off the money.

My husband, 12-year old daughter and I had an amazing stay. Apartment is exactly as shown with close proximity to transit and beach in the heart of old Nics. My daughter slept on the pull out couch and she said it was comfortable.

Amazing location(!) but be prepared for a walk & steps

This apartment is beautiful. Very, very nice. Eclectic art (though some may not be appropriate for young guests) and high quality decor (the wooden table, stools, and bathroom sink are amazing). The place is as gorgeous as listed. If taking public transport, from the train station, you will need to take a tram to get closer to the apartment (or a taxi), but you still need to walk on some uneven sidewalks and some stairs through the old village for a few minutes to a key center to grab your key, and then you will need to walk a few more minutes to the actual apartment, plus climbing up in twenty two rather steep stairs. It's do-able if you are relatively healthy, just be mentally prepared.

Lovely if Eclectic flat in Old Nice ...

A comfortable flat perfect for a couple or single. On the 2nd floor (European) up rather steep steps, but once the bags were in the apartment, it was fine. The pictures are quite accurate and represent Houman's eclectic tastes, and while not for everyone, are quite artful and interesting. The space is comfortable and well outfitted save for some simple things like Kleenex, paper towels/napkins, simple seasonings and cooking oil. While there may be some left from previous guests, that is unreliable. I only say this to make sure that you'd know that a quick trip to the Carrefour may be in order ... 3 min walk. There is also a better stocked Utile very close by as well as a large Monoprix on Place Garibaldi ... 5 mins. The bed was comfortable and the water hot and plentiful. The oven and microwave worked well, but I did not use the range top. If you want to stay in Old Nice, this is a fine stopping point. I would certainly stay again. Thank you Houman.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of old Nice

Houman's apartment was large, well-appointed, and very centrally located. I'm not sure there's better value for money in the old city than this apartment. The only downside is the bedroom - it's on the smaller side and the bed was just OK. Overall though, we were very happy with our stay!

Great apartment in a great location

Situated in the heart of the Old Town of nice , a perfect location. There was nothing more that was required from this apartment. ...it had it all ! The owner had catered for everything... It was super clean...all mod cons...utensils...utilities...entertainment systems...good Wi-Fi... local Guides... cook books...Apple Mac ... Netflix.. Air con.... We will be revisiting .. Best Location in Nice

Location was incredible and was very walkable in Nice’s Old Town. Host was responsive and kind. Really cool artsy flat, with distinct flourishes. A wonderful experience, can’t wait to book another trip to beautiful Nice soon!

Difficult to find

The apartment was nice but it was difficult to find, Taxi would not take you very close and then you need to drag your luggage through a crowded street to locate the entrance. One bedroom and an uncomfortable fold out couch. Convenient to places to eat.

Vieille Ville

Great apartment with cool art, well appointed kitchen and large bath on a quiet street in the middle of the old town. Less than 10 minutes walk to the sea and 5 minutes to the tram. We had a great time and will be back!
