2 Bedroom Apartment Paces from Place Garibaldi, On the Edge of the Old Town.

  • A perfectly situated, totally refurbished apartment with full air conditioning. It is on the 2nd floor with no lift, but the staircase is wide and shallow as there are half landings, which make it very easy to negotiate. The apartment has two, equal size, double bedrooms. The apartment has free Wifi, 42" HD TV, Blue Ray player with a large selection of movie discs and cds. Fully equipped American Kitchen with Hob, Microwave Oven, Dish Washer, Washer Dryer, Fridge and small freezer compartment. Oak dining table and seating for 6 people. English owned and it is our second home. Ample storage space for clothing and suitcases. In the bathroom there are his and hers wash hand basins, a shower cubicle, wc and corner bath (Unusual for French apartments). There is also a separate wc, convenient for 2 but essential for 4 guests. The bedrooms are at the rear of the apartment facing a courtyard area which is very quiet so undisturbed sleep with the windows open at night is possible. From one of the lounge windows you can see the entrance to the recently opened Coulee Verte. Place Garibaldi is the center hub for Cafes, transport, both Buses and Tramway to Airport, Station, Monaco and many other places en route. The location has the advantage of being close to the Old Town without the late night noise from partying revelers. If you like fresh seafood then the world famous Cafe de Turin is in the next building, book early to avoid disappointment. The double glazed windows are really efficient in blocking out any noise from outside, so you can enjoy the apartment in total peace and quiet.

Location was fantastic. The apartment was good. It had nice sheets and towels. The only complaint I have is the smell of sewage so we had to keep the windows open so the AC didn’t work as efficient. But it’s also understandable because it’s in an old building an old town again. Location was excellent for old town.

We loved our stay in this property in Nice. Very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for our family of 3. Excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere. Communication with host was always timely. Highly recommended.

Really convenient location (right next to tram from airport, mini supermarket market opposite, right on the edge of old town). Flat was ideal size and air con in each room was welcome after hours in the heat. Host was easily contactable, local agent likewise, and check-in was seamless. Whilst not dated in feel and not distracting from nice experience, apartment is showing some signs of age and wear.

Location, location, location. Minutes to the tram, bus or train. An easy, stressless 30 minutes to the apartment from Nice airport on the tram. Surrounded by 5 star restaurants and amazing 9 euro pizza location. Central to everywhere you want to go on Côte d’Azur. A/C was essential and appreciated. Easily ranks as one of our best vacations and the apartment was instrumental.

L’appartement était parfait pour les deux amies qui faisions le voyage. Il est parfaitement situé, à proximité des services et des transports. Nous sommes demeurées 12 nuitées et nous n’avons jamais eu besoin de véhicule. Avec l’autobus ou le train, il est possible de faire des visites d’une journée dans la plupart des villes de la côte. Le bureau du patrimoine offre quant à lui, des visites de Nice à pied qui sont extrêmement intéressantes. J’espère revenir à Nice et séjourner à cet appartement. Merci Patricia pour les réponses toujours rapides.

Tout est conforme à ce qui est annoncé, l'appartement est agréable et calme, bien équipé et situé idéalement à la limite du Vieux Nice! Un petit plus à apporter serait une essoreuse à salade! ;)

The location was excellent. Right off Garibaldi Square and old town Nice. Also close to public transportation including all the tram lines. A park with lots of play equipment was nearby and a nice walk through the park or old town to the beach. The air conditioning worked well. (Relatives were staying in a hotel nearby and the air conditioning was not turned on until later in the spring and they were hot. )The kitchen didn't have an oven but had a microwave, stovetop and lots of dishes, glasses and cook ware. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderbarem Appartement war auch dieses Mal sehr schön. Die Lage des Appartements ist nach wie vor unbezahlbar, alles was für uns wichtig ist, ist sehr gut erreichbar. Es ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet, also es ist alles vorhanden für ein paar entspannte Tage in Nizza.

Great Location , Wonderful Hosts

This was a great location and lovely home! Nice and clean, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen with washer/ dryer. No fuss getting in and great travel advice for our trip. Only 10 min from the beach and steps from the tram from the airport. Would definitely stay again!
