"Everyone at this hotel is so nice and welcoming. Everyone always had a smile and were willing to help in any way. The hotel and gardens are breathtaking. It’s absolutely beautiful and a very different experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were spot on. They had entertainment and honestly we loved our stay. The one and only thing I would ask for is AC in the room and even then I still give them a 5 star. I would love to come back. "

"We traveled from the USA. We had a wonderful stay. We took the Hovercraft across the water and the Hotel was directly across the street The staff was very helpful and kind. "Clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the Manor House/main building, which has an interesting and quirky history, dating back to the 1600s. Rooms are basic, a bit dated and located separately from the main building - now a conference centre - and are a complete contrast to the lovely 17th century features of the manor. Room was also quite hot as there is no air conditioning. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in was very quick. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine...
