I booked 11 Howard expecting a high-end, seamless stay, but was met with several service failures that made my experience disappointing.
I paid for valet parking but was informed the next morning that I had to walk nearly half a mile with my luggage to retrieve my car due to a street festival. This was never communicated before or during check-in. When I raised the issue, I was told by staff that the manager had authorized a full refund for valet and would follow up with me — but I never received that call.
When I followed up again, the Operations Manager reversed the promised refund to a credit and said there was nothing else they could do regarding the noise disturbances from the thin walls, which made it difficult to get any rest or privacy.
For a hotel positioned as a luxury property, this level of service and lack of accountability was disappointing. I’ve escalated this to corporate but wanted to share my experience for future guests to be aware.
