"Nusa Bay Resort is “rustic” style accommodation in an incredibly beautiful, out of the way spot in Bali. The resort is very clean but somewhat dated and tired. I could not speak highly enough about the staff and the service! The food is very good and reasonably priced for a remote location. There is abundant wildlife and a nice reef to snorkel on at your doorstep. If you like nature and something other that Kuta/Nusa Dua/Ubud/Canngu, I would highly recommend."

"The Menjangan is a beautiful resort in the West Bali Barat National Park. It is spread out over a large area with open top mini buses traveling between the various parts available at any time on request. Our poolside room was large and beautifully styled. The two restaurants offer lovely meals and the staff are super polite and friendly. The number of rooms and guests is relatively small so it is never crowded. "What a fantastic place to relax. From the first moment, when you drive down the bamboo tunnel, you just know its going to be great. Stayed for a couple of nights in a Cliff Tent Pool Villa, which had great views across the ocean to Menjangan Island. The Cliff Tents are well spaced out, so it is very relaxing. Tents are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Food at both the restaurant and as Room service was excellent, and we had a delicious floating breakfast for both mornings, sat watching...

"Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"近くに両替できるところもなく、買い物も車で行かないとダメだと着いてから知りました。スタッフさんに相談したところ、代わりに両替してくれたりホテルの仕入れのついでにフルーツを買ってきてくれました。両替などレートも良く、手間賃を払っても元が取れました。レストランの料理も美味しいくて良心的価格なので助かりました。近くの高級ホテルでも食事しましたが、値段の差だけです。ツアーも色々ありジャワ島のイジェン山も行くことができました。バードウオッチングはとんでもない視力のガイドさんが次々に鳥を見つけてくれて楽しめました。ただデンパサール空港から5時間車に乗るのがネックですね。"
