Surrounded by incredible north Georgia foliage and situated for amazing long-range views, Stargazer chalet provides the warm cabin experience you desire with the European chalet flair that provides you the modern cabin experience you expect today. The A-Frame boasts high-end touches bringing nature indoors with knotty pine throughout, natural stone, natural greenery, and abundant sunlight at all times of the day that create the perfect cozy and welcoming environment. From top to bottom, Stargazer has been fully updated with a Scandinavian influence that perfectly balances the coziness of the cabin with the modern amenities and style of today.

The master bedroom features a modern platform bed with a king foam mattress, featuring crisp white linens, plush pillows, and supportive memory foam that will cradle you to sleep. Enjoy movies from bed with the smart TV or turn on the electric fireplace on cozy cool evenings.

In the second bedroom find a modern platform bed by Thuma with a queen memory foam mattress, new linens, plush pillows, and a mixture of white, wood, and earth tones that create an incredibly relaxing environment. Spend lazy mornings letting natural light pour in to gently wake you or enjoy movies on the smart TV while the electric fireplace adds the perfect ambiance.

Both updated bathroom features a mix of wood tones, along with natural stone elements and hints of green. Dimmable recessed lights and various throw blankets allow you to dial in just the right amount of coziness.

Tucked just below the ascending staircase, the bunk area provides a perfectly cozy space for kids or members of your travel group. The steel framed queen+queen bunk bed is situated outside of the two bedrooms and provides an additional sleeping quarters. As an open area, it doesn't have any doors to lock for privacy. However, coziness is not affected. Extra comfortable memory foam mattresses, fresh linens, and plush pillows await you here as they do in any other room.

Downstairs, the primary bathroom greets you with gold touches, herringbone backsplash and a custom vanity featuring a live edge platform supporting a concrete vessel. The shower-tub combo also features a built in spa for extra relaxing baths. Dim the lights and let the ambience from the backlit mirror carry you over to pure relaxation!

Gentle soap, lotion and a starter supply of laundry detergent are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Fresh towels and a stackable washer and dryer also are available at your convenience.

There is also a powder room located upstairs on the living room level, perfect for a quick pit stop. Both bathrooms are stocked with basic amenities you may need during your stay.

In both, find natural diffusers and fragrance sticks that complement the space’s natural tones and feel.

Flowing directly from the high peak A-frame, the whitewashed, well-appointed kitchen includes custom cabinetry and all the utensils and accessories you need to cook delicious meals during your stay. The kitchen elevates your cooking experience, featuring open shelving, handcrafted cutting boards, wood utensils, and a well stocked variety of seasonings.

Never miss a sunset as you prepare meals from the island gas cooktop that opens to the long-range views of Frog Mountain, TN. Bring the family close together by sharing a meal around the simple yet elegant dining table, just off from the kitchen space.

In addition to the kitchen and dining space, the main level features a warm living space featuring a stone-wrapped corner fireplace, accent lighting, posh throw blankets, and an oversized Floyd sectional perfect for relaxing while the high peak windows pour in natural light.

Although the interior of Stargazer Chalet provides a wonderful experience, the chalet earns its name from the three-deck spaces that allow you to take in all the incredible natural views and the immense night sky. Under the high peak front of the cabin, enjoy the primary patio space featuring a hard lined BBQ grill, exterior living space with an outdoor sectional, soft overhead string lighting, and breathtaking views. Off the kitchen space, enjoy the cabin’s side deck that features a propane outdoor fire pit, perfect for gathering and roasting s’mores.

Finally, head downstairs to find the jetted hot tub, giant chess, jenga and connect 4 games. Set at 102 degrees, the hot tub is ready to soak away all stress. Sitting higher in elevation, this property not only enjoys cool summer nights, but incredible fall colors, and cozy snowfall in the winter that gives you the perfect excuse to relax in the hot tub and curl up by the fire.

Working remotely? Stargazer has high-speed Wi-Fi that supports video conferencing, and the convertible dresser provides you space to set up your home office in the secondary bedroom.

Stargazer chalet is perfectly located to allow you to get out and enjoy all the incredible adventure and amenities the north Georgia mountains provide. Just 18 minutes from the rustic town of Morganton and just 25 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge, the area provides you with all the dining, drinking, and amenities you need.

Morganton, situated on the east side of Blue Ridge Lake and just minutes from Morganton Point Recreation area provides you basic amenities including Nomad Market, great for lunch and breakfast, and Lake Blue Ridge Outfitters, your local spot to rent paddle boards and more. Blue Ridge Lake access is also less than 20 minutes from Stargazer.

Looking for that perfect glass of wine? Just minutes from the cabin you will find Serenberry Vineyards featuring an amazing outdoor space and tasting room to try the selection of local wines.

Head over to Blue Ridge for great dining at quaint southern-style restaurants like Harvest on Main or Southern Charm Restaurant. Enjoy craft brews at Grumpy Old Men Brewing or simply stroll the main street to pop into one of the many taverns.

Blue Ridge provides you with all the grocery needs you may have with Food Lion, Walmart Supercenter, and Ingles Market.

Less than 2 hours from Downtown Atlanta and a little over 2 hours from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

As in many part of North Georgia, the route to Stargazer is along a mountain road with many turns. As Stargazer is nestled at the peak of the mountain, the last 2 miles are off the beaten path and require driving on unpaved gravel road. Trailers and low sports cars are not recommended on the path as the road is uneven and has narrow turns. Regular cars with no 4WD/all-wheel drive will be ok in fair weather. Please check in with us if your are traveling during rain or snow season and aren't certain on your transportation's capabilities.

Uncovered private parking is available for up to 4 normal sized vehicles.
