"The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater."

They did everything from finding the right outerwear to finding us a great driver. Meals were delicious. "This hotel is the best place to stay in Kinigi/to gorilla trek! It’s the closest lodge to the Dian Fossey campus and women’s village, and the staff is exceptional. "This property is falsely advertised. The location listed on Expedia is not accurate, and when I arrived, it was nowhere near where it was supposed to be. I was forced to book another hotel last-minute. That alone would have been manageable, but the real issue is that the property provided no way to resolve the situation. They never answered their phone, ignored messages, and even when Expedia tried to reach them directly, there was no response. As a result, I was unable to cancel and lost over...

"I booked a small single room which was perrfectly adequate for my needs. The wifi was challenging, but the reception worked on it and got it to work for me. Very friendly and helpful staff, the food was good, and they were open to fix us something not on the menu. Its located off the main road outside of the town center, but is still a walkable distance from the business centers. "

"The lodge does not actually exist. We arrived at the building, and the outside matched the pictures. However there was no sign and no staff at the place. With the assistance of some helpful neighbours from the street, we learned that it was available for long term rental. A supervisor (who arrived on bike after being called by one of the neighbours) opened the gates so that we could see the “lodge”. It was completely empty and bereft of any furniture).
