"Clean room, nice friendly people and a really good rate."

"We were allocated a room for a disabled person even though neither of us are disabled or had requested it. However we did appreciate the wet room rather than a bath with shower over. But, and a big but for any traveller, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries, razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes etc etc. All the things that are needed within reach of the sink. We ended up dragging the chair in the shower to the sink in order to have our toilet bags close without them...

"Clean room & Clean inside overall. The member of staff on duty on Saturday was extremely helpful. Appliances need to be checked for safety & other guests should remember to close doors carefully especially after 11pm. All in all a good stay & cool room very welcome on a hot weekend."

I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. I will not be using them again. I can recommend...

"The room was clean and so was the communal areas. Location good for the ice rink, hence the selection of the hotel. Downside - I booked as it was advertised as budget but there are all the hidden extras. Breakfast was extra at £8.50 each and was only a two types of cold pastries, limited cereal, toast and a couple of toppings. Not worth £8.50. No kettles or tea/coffee in rooms - that you had to pay for but the hot water downstairs was complimentary which you had to carry upstairs if you...

"The parking was problematic as some had parked a petrol car in the charging bay, which they did move on request. The room was cold as someone had left the window open. The room and hallway smelt of smoking and generally was very old. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bud was comfy. There was no hot water in the morning until I went to reception and asked about it and was told just run the water. The towel rail was broken with electric cable hanging off. The television had no signal, so...

"I have never had such good sleep outside my home. We had an excellent experience here. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to Sheffield and highly recommend it to others. We had a top tier stay and were honestly blown away, everything exceeded our expectations."
