The room was good and the staff were fine. However, there was nowhere to sit downstairs—not even to wait for someone or a taxi—except for the small bar at the entrance with high stools. The lounge, which functions as the only lobby area, is always reserved for private events, and the few terrace tables are only available for dining.
If you are simply looking for a comfortable room in a good location in Chueca, this hotel is acceptable, but there are comparable or better options at a lower price.
Despite having VIP Access, I received no special benefits, aside from a one-hour late check-out, which was granted without any reference to VIP status.
