"Contrary to some other reviews we (2 adults+dog) found the Linton to be very pleasant and convenient. The room was clean (although the carpet could do with a bit of tlc), and you like to see and hear trains going past (we do!) then this is the place for you. The room was big enough to move around ..."

"The hotel is a bit tired. My room was adequate. The bed comfortably and the shower worked. But it was dated. The bar sold a good selection of craft beers and was quite lively with live music on 2 of the 3 nights I stayed."
