The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa
We didn't use the Spa or have any meals there so we can't comment on that. But the welcome at check-in was great and the room was excellent. We did have a drink in the bar where the service was excellent and very friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The Hand Hotel Llangollen by Compass Hospitality
Grotty place. Wallpaper peeling, carpet loose, the corridors are filthy, barristers are sticky to touch. Big stain on the floor around the toilet. Only one small towel in a room for two. Bedding was clean, but the mattress ways so malformed it felt like we were sliding out all night. Weird, super ...

White Lion Royal Hotel
Welcoming staff on arrival and throughout the stay. The family room was spacious and comfortable beds. Breakfast was great value for money.

The view was spectacular, especially as there was a moorland fire opposite one night which glowed for a few hours. The night sky was also spectacular. I haven;t seen so many stars and planets for decades. It was worth visiting for that alone. Very well organised for dogs especially the deck. Lovely ...

Nice place, little hard to find. Managed to park easily along the fence. Would definitely stay there again
