"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"First room I had, had an issue with the door, staff immediately swapped my room! Staff were very kind and helpful, room had both a fan and electric heater which was perfect. Great food, nice pint selection. Excellent location."

"The staff were so friendly. The evening meal was just what we needed after a long journey, although a little expensive., but we were on holiday so expected to pay more. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. Beds were very comfortable and clean, we slept well. If we ever pass through Dolgellau again we would definitely stay here again. "

"Our room, No 6, was fairly compact but it was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. The modern shower and toilet room was also spotless. The staff were very friendly. We didn't see the option of breakfast so we couldn't have the residents' breakfast which included cereal and more, so we chose breakfast from the menu. It was very good - perfect poached eggs and great tea. We will be going back in the summer."
