  • Welcome to Crane's Nest! Relax in this lovely year-round, 3 bed home on a private ½ acre treed lot in Belair Forest. Enjoy lounging in the screened porch or soaking up the sun on the deck. Cozy up in the living room with wood burning stove and watch movies or play games. Short walk to a park and the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Short drive to many amazing sandy beaches in the area! Also great for ATV, snowmobiling, fishing (summer and winter), boating, biking, hiking, golf, etc!

    Open concept living area with vaulted pine ceilings and wood burning stove. Large fully-equipped, newly renovated kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and huge dining table (seats 6). WIFI is available! Living room has a TV (with Firestick), DVD player, lots of movies. Patio doors off kitchen lead to a gorgeous screened porch with forest views. Window unit air conditioner in living area. Master bedroom has a queen sized bed, desk, TV/DVD Player/Monitor, ceiling fan and closet. The second bedroom has double/single bunk bed, closet and patio doors to access the front deck. There is another 8 x 9 room off the kitchen with a Day Bed (great for daytime reading) that can be used as a 3rd bedroom by closing the barn door and converting the Day Bed from a single to a king-size bed. Large 3 piece Bathroom (shower, toilet, vanity). Enjoy the sun on the beautiful deck on front (south) side of the house. Yard has beautiful trees and flowers, a fire pit, a badminton net and a great outdoor sitting area with propane BBQ. Short walk to park and the lake where you can see beautiful sunsets. The beach is rocky and not best for swimming, however there are many sandy beaches a short drive away. Also close to all amenities such as stores, restaurants, hotel, boating, golf, fishing (summer and winter), hiking, quad trails, snowmobile trails, ski trails, bike trails.

Lovely cabin was very cozy and mornings with coffee in front of the wood stove were perfect. Would definitely go back!

A stay in Belair. Listed as Lester Beach, but swimming was a bit of a drive away.

It's a lovely, secluded, well-kept property that is very comfortable. Highlights include a den w a daybed, which is a wonderfully reading nook & a lovely screened in porch, where you can hear & see the birds & squirrels & the wind rushing through the trees.

Wonderful property

The cottage is in a wooded area with beaches a short drive away. The cottage is very comfortable to be in.We especially enjoyed the wood stove in the living room area and the deck out front. I would recommend this property to any future guests.

Winter weekend

Cozy, clean year round get away. Great place to walk, or sled trails are close by. Lots of room for 2 couples with kids, and putting winter gear out of the way. Will stay again!

Perfect vacation stay

The cottage was spacious, clean, private and had all the amenities. Communication was very straightforward with the host. We very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect for families or a getaway with friends. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we stayed here. It was wonderful. Perfect for the whole family and my two dogs, so much so that we just booked it again for the fall

Beautiful cabin, clean, great outdoor deck and lovely screened in porch where we spent much of our time. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and everything you could need for cooking. Steps to the lake, lots to do in the area. We would go back for sure!

Located on a quiet street and is a close drive to a few different beaches. The house is comfortable and has a screened in room that we used a lot.

Great cabin

My family and I just stayed here and we had a great time. The cabin was clean and cozy. It rained at one point and staying inside was no issue for our kids as the cabin provided plenty of indoor activities. Often with cabins the beds tend to be an issue but not here, the beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to relax

Very well appointed cottage in beautiful setting. Host very helpful. Nice little getaway mid week. Was able to work remotely and still enjoy the last taste of summer lake like. Would highly recommend and plan to go back someday.

Cute cabin in the woods

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family and 2 dogs. The place was very comfortable and roomy. We mostly just huddled around the fire and played some games. I would definitely stay here again, maybe during the summer months though

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

This was a lovely winter retreat. Lots of windows, bedrooms were simple and the main area was open and inviting. We couldn't enjoy the yard as it was still snowy, but the trees around the property helped it feel quite private.

Serenity in Belair

Great space in a beautiful area! We loved the privacy and trees! The cabin has a great screened in room, lots of spaces outside to be in or out of the sun, and just a fantastic space to spend time with our family!!
