"Shame on Clarion Hotels for neglecting this waterfront property and letting it become a sad, shabby, not inexpensive, hotel. The room phone was broken, the room safe didn’t work, room keys didn’t work, the room was poorly lit, and the bathroom was yuck. The staff was friendly, though our room across from the housekeeping area was loud with staff arguing or having conversation. The restaurant was fine. The only thing edible at the free breakfast offered by the hotel, was a tiny yogurt."

"Clean room, Nice bathroom and shower. However, the breakfast had much to be desired. The choices of food were very limited. The only hot food option was a Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwich with some of the worst sausage I've ever eaten. Not a good start to our day."

"Stay in 217 one night bathroom door does not lock . When I told them at the front desk I was told your kids should knock before entering. The counter top in the bathroom was broken . When I told them at the desk I am going write a review off my disappointment I was told go ahead. Guess they don’t care about my business. My daughter just move here in buffalo for med school and for the next 4 years we will be back and forth. They really don’t care ."

"Our window curtain was torn and could not be closed. I informed room service and the front desk and all they said was we're sorry to hear that and did nothing. People from the Holiday Inn could see through our room. The room smelled funny. We had rented the suite. We arrived early after a long drive six hour drive from New Jersey and they charged us an extra $30. With the condition of the room, they should have just waived it. Avoid this place."
