Hotels a Lamancha, West Linton

"I really enjoyed my stay, and certainly hope to get back to this hotel very soon. The quality of food at breakfast was incredible."

"Lovely place to stay, the staff are brilliant. So pleasant and helpful."

"Good breakfast, extensive menu, good service. Quiet room at back of hotel, not muchof a view but fine for one night."

"This hotel looks amazing from the pictures but the stay is quite different. The property is quite old, and the rooms are an anex part of the property- not in the actual castle itself. Clean enough, staff was very friendly but a bit deceiving from what is shown here. Updates beyond needed"

"Very nice stay as we have had previously and we will be going back"

"Macdonald's Cardrona is looking a bit tired. Pretty well maintained, though enough cut-backs to become noticeable. The staff are very good, but have no say in the fixtures. For example, the third floor is very poorly endowed with WiFi. We had to be moved to the 4th floor, where it was better. Apparently, it is a long-term problem, which you only find out if you are involved. In the bedroom, there were no bedside power sockets; one packet of biscuits for 2 people; inadequate ceiling lighting -...

"Absolutely beautiful castle! Everything so well maintained, staff knowledgeable of gluten free needs. Staff was very helpful in everything. My only thing was I didn’t have slippers in my room. Other than that our stay was absolutely fantastic."

"Its first time I visited this hotel, its was good experience and friendly staff"

"Good staff"

"Fint hotell rett ved trikk og togstasjonen som tar 10-15 min til flyplassen og 25 min til sentrum. KFC ligger foran hotellet. De som jobbet der var hyggelige."

"Walkable to terminal which is the main draw, my room was in need of maintenance, water temps in bathroom are only warm so no hot showers, also thermostat was locked down so I could not make the room warm."

"Convenient and smooth checking and check out, good location."

"A solid performer conveniently located near Haymarket Station (with an M&S!) for ease of train, tram and taxi travel."

"Room was very clean, staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were more than ample really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future."

"Great pool area, rooms are good, bed was great. I made a mistake during booking and tried to get in touch with the hotel and Expedia to fix it. But we could not reach the hotel by phone not in the evening not in the morning and when we checked in they could not offer us any help or compensation so we needed to spend 350 pounds for a night for two rooms we didn’t use."
