"Hits all of the marks for a getaway. Loved that it's off the beaten path. And the views being at tree top are special especially when the mountain mist descends on the valley. The dual decks are a plus, one wide open to nature, the lower screened-in is covered and protected from rain & bugs. And the hot tub makes for great relaxing after an active day. "Being located on the lake, it is a beautiful place to entertain a large family (there were 17 of us). The biggest problem was arriving to find dead roaches, gnats, stink bugs and spiders that needed to be swept up before we could settle in. The amount of cobwebs in the house indicated to me that it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while. We reported the issues when we arrived on Monday and weren’t offered cleaning services until Wednesday afternoon. By then we had swept and wiped things down....

"A warm and inviting house situated on the best part of Lake Rabun. The outdoor spaces are wonderful for those that need to relax but there are plenty of activities for the younger crowd as well. Perfect for any size gathering. The kitchen is fully appointed but there's a new restaurant just steps away in case you're not in the mood to cook. Hiking trails near by and along with shopping in nearby Clayton/Tallulah Falls."
