This house was beautiful and extremely comfortable. We were a large group of 23 with kids and teens and it always felt spacious. The location was close to all for a weekend of skiing and snow tubing. I would definitely recommend and come back. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Family reunion

We had 30 people for a family reunion and it was so wonderful. The elevator and handicap accessible bathroom was perfect for our matriarch. The kids enjoyed the property and we all enjoyed the game room. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful lake. It was a beautiful home well fought out and well stocked.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paddles and Poles. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Communication with the owner was excellent and arrival couldn't have been smoother. The only suggestion we have is to have working ice makers. Other than that we have no complaints. We highly recommend Paddles and Poles.

Great place for large group and multiple families!

A group of friends (16 adults) and our young kids (10 ages 1-5) stayed very comfortably in this home. The number of bathrooms was great, the spacious living space and deck was also appreciated. We used the fire pit every night. Compared to another location we've stayed in the Poconos previously, this area had a lot more nearby including kid appropriate hikes, a splash pad, and a farmers market.

Perfect for our needs

This place was perfect for our needs. We could all be together while still having the privacy of our own bedroom and bathroom. The elevator was so helpful for our elderly mother to get from one floor to another. The handicap accessible shower was also great. And since it rained a lot during our stay, the house gave us great space to be together, play games, and enjoy each other's company. Places like this are hard to find! So glad we found this one!!

Pocono Mountains Retreat

Went away with family to enjoy some time together. House was spacious enough for our group and we were able to enjoy most of the amenities the house offered. Unfortunately for us it had just snowed and the temp dropped to below zero with the wind chill so we couldn't use all of the outside amenities.

Amazing house for large group!

This is a great location and house for a large group - we loved having so much space. The bathroom to bedroom ratio is great and everything was clean and spacious. We loved using the hot tub, fire pit, games in the basement, and the large tables made every meal so lovely to have as a group! We loved being able to connect to the speaker, the large island in kitchen, 2 dishwashers and ovens. It was a great space for a big group reunion. We were 18 adults and felt really comfortable and we could have added in a few more adults with no issues. I only wish they had more kayaks for a group with such a large capacity on property, but it’s a close walk to their lake entrance and a very short drive to boat rentals, a grocery store, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and are planning to come back for our next reunion!

Long time friends Reunion

We rented this property in mid October 2024. The entire house was immaculate. Very clean house. The host was very responsive. Elevator was blessing. We mainly used it for taking luggage to upper level. Only concern was of an access to the house from main road. Short section of road is not paved and not properly identified. Other than that we would definitely rent this place again.

Five year anniversary

Twenty-three amazing professional women from various ages from 29 to 60+ wanted to get together to celebrate our five year anniversary in a professional organization. This house was amazing! The host responses, room sizes, pictures, cleanliness, and well- appointed accommodations aligned with the five star reviews. Having an elevator was a huge plus for luggage and to accommodate chef supplies. The parking lot only accommodates ten parking spots, but with coordination, we made it happen. A few of us also took advantage of walking outdoors to see the lake and neighborhood. Besides walking along the shoulder of the road, there is no outdoor walking space nearby. Overall, this was an excellent location/house and we all had a great time!!

Perfect Family Reunion Getaway!

We had an amazing two-night family reunion at this property! The house was immaculate and felt brand new. The elevator was a huge plus for my 80-year-old mother, making getting around easy and convenient. The modern mountain house decor was tasteful and cozy. The bedrooms were thoughtfully designed with flat-screen TVs, built-in shelving, and vanities, and the bathrooms had plenty of towel hooks for our large group. The oversized kitchen with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, and a large dining table was a dream for preparing meals and enjoying time together. It was well-stocked with all the amenities and staples we needed. The game room with a bar, pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard, air hockey, and touchscreen interactive gaming system kept us entertained, and the new flat-screen TVs in the game room and living room were a nice touch. We also loved making s'mores outside at the fire pit. The property manager was very responsive to our questions, which we appreciated. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to go back next year! One small suggestion would be to add bungee cords to the garbage cans to keep deer out, but it's a minor detail. Highly recommend this property for large groups looking for a beautiful, well-equipped, and conveniently located place to stay!

Family Weekend Getaway

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this outstanding property for two nights. It was not only brand new but also impeccably clean. The modern appliances and tasteful mountain decor made the place feel both luxurious and cozy. The oversized kitchen was a dream for preparing large meals and spending quality time with loved ones. The game room, featuring a modern touchscreen interactive gaming system and new flat screen TVs, was a fantastic addition that provided entertainment for both kids and adults. The property manager was accommodating and easy to communicate with. This property truly exceeded our expectations! While our stay was fantastic, there were a few minor details that could be improved. The shuffleboard game was missing wax sand, which would have been a fun addition. The hot tub was enjoyable, but it was low on water during our visit. Additionally, more firewood for the great fire pit would have been appreciated. We also found that washcloths were needed in all bathrooms, and a few extra kitchen towels would have been handy. Despite these small points, our overall experience at the property was still wonderful. A must consider property if vacationing with a large group. There are very few updated properties like this one offered on the lake.
