"Just OK. Not a high end hotel but OK. They should tell you about parking - which is offsite. We had to guess where to park. Also, very hard to get a taxi at night. Room was small but OK. Very hard to deal with the A/C controls."

"The location is beautiful. A bit of a way from the town so the shuttle bus is really useful and the tourist information at the ferry terminal is more than happy to call for you if the bus isn’t waiting. The staff were all very welcoming and the public bath, dinner and breakfast were all very Japanese and very good indeed. I would definitely recommend this ryokan. "

"What a treat! We stayed in a room with a view of the water and private onsen. It was so nice we don’t want to explore the island…and a great way to relax after a hike to the summit. Would absolutely recommend! "

"食事が素晴らしかったです。地元の食材は新鮮で素材自体の旨味が生かされ、添えられた塩やソースがそれらの良さを消すことなくさらに引き立てて、どの料理も本当に美味しくいただきました。シェフのこだわりと腕の良さが感じられる食事で大変満足しました。 最上階にあるスパは、備え付けのスパウェアを無料で貸し出してくださって、夫と一緒に楽しむことができました。屋外にはテラスがあり、宮島を望むことができました。 スタッフの方々も皆さん丁寧に対応してくださって気持ち良く過ごすことができ、感謝しております。宮島に、このホテルに泊まるのを目的に、また利用したいと思いました。"

"Perfectly located across the road from the Ferry (no issue with noise). Nice sized rooms, perhaps in need of a little refresh (room door did not seal very well, large gaps around the edge and bottom which meant could hear corridor noise). Buffet style dinner and breakfast was amazing, so tasty & such a good variety. Really enjoyed that the ingredients were locally sourced. Would absolutely stay here again! "

"老舗ホテルで、8階の客室廊下に山本五十六大将の集合写真があり、感激しました。 少し、絵画が多すぎるようにも感じました。 夕食時の接客は、年齢が高めの女性スタッフが多く、丁寧で感じ良かったです。 温泉からの眺めは素晴らしかったのですが、館内が広く、お風呂にたどり着くまで、かなり歩くので、脚が不自由な方には少し厳しいかも　と思いました。"

"Clean room and typical of a hotel in regional Japan. Views were lovely, especially on ground floor and in the restaurant. I took advantage of the onsen and sauna. Free coffee, tea, beer and soft drinks on ground floor. They offer have a shuttle bus service to / from the station but limited hours. Otherwise it’s a 15 minute walk so if you have heavy luggage, would not recommend. 7/11 and MacDonalds are close by."

"スタッフさんは感じがよく、料理も食べきれないほどてした。客室からは海は見えませんでした。お値段的に部屋を期待していましたが、あまり広くはなく、部屋を入って布団の横を通ってソファのある場所に行くような不思議な作りでした。部屋にお風呂がついているのが良かったですが、ほぼ外なので寒いし、シャワーの水圧が弱く髪を洗うのが大変でした。"

"The staff was terrific; very kind and attentive. The view of the Tori gate was incredible from our room. Food was wonderful and there was a lot of it! More that anything, Miyajima is just a wonderful place! If we can manage it we will go back! Also, they have no issue with tattoos in the onset, which is a plus for me!"

"We stayed there because of its proximity to the Iwakuni Airport to easily catch a next day flight. It was a comfortable walking distance to the airport. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very kind and helpful."
