Located conveniently close to shopping, dining, and local attractions, you'll be right in the heart of everything while still just moments from the ocean. Rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower before settling in for a peaceful evening with family or friends.

Please note:

No party groups are permitted.
Pets: Must be disclosed at the time of booking. Dogs up to 20 lbs are welcome with approval. A $200 pet fee will be added after confirmation.
Electric vehicles: Charging is not permitted on the property.
Linens: Bath linens and kitchen towels are provided. Guests must bring their own bed sheets and beach towels.
A starter supply of kitchen essentials is included.
Full-size washer and dryer available in the laundry closet.

4th of July fun

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Bacon on the Beach. Its a lovely cottage with a lot of character. Feels welcoming and it was super clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy short walk to the beach. Jolly Roger Restaurant is close by and our favorite breakfast spot. Close to Food Lion and cottage is located on a street with traffic light which makes it easier to get onto bypass road. Plenty of seating and open floor plan. The deck was very nice with a covered portion over the table and chairs. I thoroughly enjoyed the rocking chairs! Would stay here again.

cute little bacon on the beach

This week, long day with my grandson and his best friend who just graduated high school. The house was more spacious than expected and everything that you would need for a stay was there. The house was clean towels were provided. The only thing I didn’t use was the grill because that was not clean, but that was fine. It’s a really nice neighborhood and only a short walk to the beach. We loved it.

Great location

The house was homey and comfortable. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. The kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated. The location was great with a short walk to the beach and shopping and attractions nearby.

Perfect for family trip

Enjoyed short walks to the beach and close proximity to grocery stores. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils, large and small. Great place to come back to and recharge before heading out to many different nearby activities and attractions

Super close to the beach

Overall, we had a great stay. I had asked prior to arriving if bed linens were provided. I was told they were, but upon arrival we noticed no sheets were on the bed or laid out nearby luckily, the guest room closet had a lot of extra linens, but they required us to search for sets and wash some of them prior to use. The air conditioning was excellent (It was a hot week!) and the kitchen and living room were spacious and comfortable. There was an old sock and some candy wrappers on the floor in one of the rooms when we arrived, so the cleaning service could have been more detailed. Super close to a beautiful beach. Had some trouble lighting the grill which was not cleaned and the starter was broken. Also, the yard had burrs that stuck to clothes and shoes.

Amazing property and location!

Overall cannot say good enough things about this property. The location is amazing, right near the beach. This is my second time staying and we hope to again. The house is perfect, clean and tidy and has a lot to offer in entertainment. From grilling to books, games and TV you will have a great time at this property. We called the property manager, and she was very friendly, polite, and had all the answers we needed. Will definitely stay there again.

The Deck

This was our third time staying here! The new deck (not pictured in the listing) and new deck furniture was a nice surprise and great addition. We sat out every morning enjoying our coffee and the breeze!

We had a Great vacation

The house was easy to find upon arrival. It was clean. We loved the deck and the outdoor shower. It was a short walk and easy to get to the beach. We were concerned about not having a rail on the porch steps. It was hard for my 89 year old mom to get up and down the steps. All in all though, we had a great vacation.

Great Beach House

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to the beach and close distance to groceries/restaurants/stores. The only downside is theres only one full bathroom in the house. Owner was very responsive which was a huge plus! Highly recommend!

Very convenient

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the beach. I also really liked that there's a grocery store (Food Lion) right by the house (a couple minute driving distance) where I could easily buy the items that I forgot like sunblocks or buy things that I didn't want to pack like a large watermelon, ice cream, etc. This little house had everything we needed for our stay including giant jenga blocks for kids! Had a very nice experience! Thank you!

Our family if four plus one fur baby enjoyed our stay. My son loved the bunk beds and having a tv in the room. The kitchen was well equipped and the island provided plenty of seating. The rooms were just the right size and the beds were comfy. The bathroom is just as nice as it looks in the pictures. The house might look small from outside, but it has a nice layout and plenty of room. The beach was a 5 minute walk, and grocery stores are close by. My son loved our stay so much he begged not to leave.

Beach cottage

We just had a wonderful stay. This home is a quick walk to the beach and a quick walk to the grocery store. Inside the house has the luxury of a washer and dryer. The kitchen and bathroom have been beautifully updated . It made for a very enjoyable vacation for our family of 4.
