Room was nice and clean. Pool was in need of love but was great in the afternoon. Breakfast is continental and not good so don’t pay for that. Overall was nice for the price I paid which was cheap.

Stayed in the superior ocean view which is next to the restaurant room 108. The other 4 ocean view rooms were classified Deluxe which I have stayed in before and were 10 times better. Room 108 has 3 live lobster tanks attached to the room outside and the pumps and filters go all night. So the room was noisy and you could hear the restaurant patrons. No TV in superior room and bathroom stunk and looked bleak. The place is dated and our room sub standard for the price.

Beautifully authentic Balinese gardens and buildings. I had breakfast and dinner every day, overlooking the ocean. The food was great, and generous serves. Couldn't fault the room. For me, the staff were one of the highlights of my stay. They were all friendly, helpful, willing to offer assistance for sightseeing etc. All the trained staff have very good English, and the trainees are being taught. I felt treated like an old friend. Beautiful people. I do want to mention the names of them, for special praise. Kiki, Ode, Evi, Budi, Widi, Made, Miada, and, especially, my 'Tour expert' Sri (Yanti) Thank you all so much for a truly beautiful 5 days 🙏

CANDIDASA FEBRUARY 2024

One of my favourite hotels in the world. The location is perfect with mountains and jungle on one side and coral reef on the other. The rooms are nice and having breakfast overlooking the sea is very special. And the staff are all helpful and super friendly and attentive.

Charming, kind staff, toilet needs serious update

Very charming hotel in Candidasa, with a very polite and kind staff. However the hotel is worn and in need of a noticeable renovation. And the toiletseat in our room was disgusting and should have been changed years ago, such a shame for such a charming place.

Impeccable service!

From the warm welcome to being waved goodbye by staff, this place is all about the service (and beautiful beachfront location too!). They addressed us by name and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Shining example of great service. Room was clean, has AC/fan and mini bar fridge. The lower mark for eco friendliness was due to some of the garbage on the beach and pier - but the staff went out to do a clean up on our last day there. I highly recommend Ashyana and would absolutely return again.

Ok for a short stay

Mixed...nice room, nice pool but needs some TLC. Food quite expensive. Nice beach front views but the sea seemed polluted with sewage. Didnt like the live lobster on offer and would've gone elsewhere had I known. Not the best location either...its on the busy main road. Staff are lovely but only 2 rooms occupied was strange, no atmosphere...turns out G Adventures use it so I guess thats why all the rooms were empty.

The only way I can describe this hotel is idyllic! The location is wonderful. Right by the sea with a private beach and a beautiful restaurant where you can eat and hear the waves lapping against the beach with some very special views!

Lovely small hotel with 5* staff and views.

We had the best room/villa in the hotel. Large room with verandah overlooking the pool and the view of the sea and Lombok in the distance. The breakfasts were included and were delicious. Fresh fruit platter, fresh squeezed juices, omelette and fresh baked bread. The balinese options were also delicious. The staff are wonderful. A smile around every corner :-)
