"Wow, thank you to Sue and her team, Sally, Sal and Will. What a warm welcome! We had such a lovely time with you all. A well run, friendly and warm spirited pub and B&B. The drinks were cold, and flowed easily and the food second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay. No wonder the local patrons enjoy spending their down time with you!"

"The hut was in a gorgeous location with sheep as neighbours. It was super cosy and comfortable and had all that we needed. Sat outside in the sun having our brekkie was lovely. The hot tub was great but took ages to heat up, maybe as it was a bit damp. We had a lovely time :) "

"Breakfast was sooo yummy, with both a full english breakfast as well as a breakfast buffet table. There was some issues with the booking itself, so that was annoying. Apparently some comms issues between Expedia and the hotel. But everything else was great. "

"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come...

"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. "We enjoyed a wonderful stay, we were made very welcome and the room (Granville) was absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample tea coffee chocolate supplies in the room. "This was a return visit as we loved the friendly staff and locals. Special treat for our Irish Wolfhound because my wife was on antibiotics so timing meant she couldn't have her breakfast... so guess who got it instead. Very happy dog though I think the chef felt his skills were not being tested given she likes her eggs raw. So yes they are very dog friendly, and the food for us humans was excellent as well."
