Contemporary single house located in a quiet, safe, & beautiful neighborhood.

Single-family house located in Mandarin, one of the best, quietest, safest, and most beautiful neighborhoods in Jacksonville. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house boasts a spacious front and back yard. The backyard features a playground and a paved area. There’s also a driveway that can accommodate four cars.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room includes cable TV, local channels, and Netflix. The large Florida room has a bar, a TV with local channels, and a jacuzzi tub.

Fast Internet.

The property allows pets (up to two), but they must be kept off the furniture. If dog or cat hair is found on the furniture, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the premises and must be done outdoors. If smoking is detected inside the home, an additional $100 cleaning fee will be charged.

I offer a long-term stay discount. 10 percent on bookings over 28 nights and 5 percent on bookings over a week.

I guarantee a prompt response to any questions within one hour.

The house is conveniently located near Interstate 295 and I-95. Nearby restaurants include Miller’s Ale House in Mandarin, Chili’s, Bonefish Grill, Steak ’n Shake, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and various fast-food options like McDonald’s, Firehouse Subs, Chick-fil-A, Subway, KFC, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, and many more.

Shopping is within easy reach. Avenues Mall is 10 minutes away, Walmart Supercenter, Publix, and Winn Dixie are close by, St. Johns Town Center is 20 minutes away, and Jacksonville Beach is 25 minutes away.

Other nearby attractions include Ever-Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is 25 minutes away. The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is 27 minutes away, and the Mayo Clinic is 20 minutes away.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The house was clean and fully stocked with standard paper products, soap, spices, and was comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner was very responsive. We traveled on a red eye flight and asked if we could check in an hour early. The owner approved our request right away without any additional costs. We had a small water leak and contacted the owner as soon as it was spotted. The owner was there is 20 minutes to resolve the problem. We would definitely stay at this location again. Thank you for making this location available.

We loved it!

It is a lovely home with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is about a 25 minute drive from the beach, which we went to twice. My kids loved the little playground in the backyard. We would definitely stay here again. We also went to a restaurant named Clark's that is just nearby that is very interesting and strange. It's covered in taxidermied animals and is right on the river to see alligators. It's definitely worth checking out.

Jax Rental House

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is spacious with a nice sized backyard for pets. The beds were fine and the master bath was lovely. It was spacious with a nice jacuzzi tub. The kitchen had most everything we needed for our stay. The sun room off the back was nice along with the game table. The neighborhood was pretty quiet - never really heard anyone other than the occasional car. Overall, it suited our needs.

Perfect weekend rental

The property is well-maintained, was easy to get to, and check-in and out were really easy. There were no complicated check out instructions which meant we had more time for sleep and to visit family. The house was clean and had everything we needed for simple meals, sleeping, and relaxing in the evening. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out. Quick access to 295. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. I didn’t realize the washer/dryer was only available for stays longer than 5 days, but it worked out ok and we didn’t need it. We didn’t need the host for anything, but he provided his contact info just in case.

I stayed at this lovely property to escape and evacuate from a hurricane in Tampa. I feel like I got so lucky to find this house! I had myself, my 87-year-old ill parent, three dogs, my brother, sister-in-law and two nephews in the home. This was way more people and more dogs than the host usually allows but he was extremely gracious and forgiving. In fact, he went out of his way to be flexible and make it convenient and affordable for us in light of the circumstances. The home is beautiful, very spacious (even with all those people and dogs that easily accommodated us), extremely clean, comfortable, and it has all of the amenities anyone could want in a vacation home. It truly was a beautiful house and the host was incredibly generous. I cannot say enough good things about the property and the host. Do not hesitate to book this location for your next visit to the Jacksonville suburbs. You will not be disappointed! Thank you much R! I can’t tell you how much we appreciate you and your extreme generosity!

Good listing/home

Overall everything was fine. I found it odd there is a dishwasher but no dishwasher pods, no cutting board, no containers to save leftovers (with a full kitchen...), the bare minimum in terms of kitchen disposables, though plenty of utensils, spatulas, etc. The AC in the Florida room is not enough for the size of the place, and at mid-90s we couldn't use the room. The rest of the house is a bit dark, so that was a bummer.I can't find anywhere in the listing that says this, but the laundry room is locked and only available for bookings of 5 days or more.

Clean and Desirable Location

The property was extremely clean. It almost felt like we were the first people to stay there. The hosts were very responsive, and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
