"My husband and I are at the end of a two week driving trip. The beds in this cabin were the most comfortable of our whole trip. It took a while for the little air conditioner to cool down the room, but once it did, it was quite nice. The decor was standard "cabin" style with a nice campfire area. I would stay here again and do recommend. "

"This was a great place. The host was incredibly communicative and nice. It was a quick walk to restaurants and shops for necessities. The house was spacious and offered many activities. This was an outstanding location to take day trips out to various locations in the Western portion of Northern Michigan."

"For price of renting bedrooms shd b nicer. No place to put clothes BR furniture a disaster. Bathrooms need to be cleaner and rugs in BR are really bad. Did not see one fire detector or carbon monoxide detector. Location fabulous, overall place ok not great. A bear came into yard and and a raccoon was able to enter through the disastrous windows.Laundry facility not great. Again for the price they are getting there are areas that need a lot of work."

"Roadhouse has a great location nesr shared beach & dock on Lake Platte. The cottage looks to be in the process of renovations(which we weren't aware of), the exterior was only partially sided with the remainder covered in house wrap. The front door didn't like staying shut unless it was locked. The window to the door had no vurtain/covering, so we had to hang a towel over it for privacy. The interior was definitely updated compared to pictures as second bedroom has bunk beds instead of the two...
