Derelict woodland, Moat House, Honiley These are the grounds of a very secluded property at the corner of the A4177 and the Honiley turn. Pevsner's 'Warwickshire' refers to Moat Farmhouse, timber-framed, c.1500 with original roof-timbers. Located at 2¾ miles SE of Temple Balsall, this could be the site.

Honiley Hall from Honiley churchyard The present Honiley Hall was built in 1914-15 in Neo-Tudor style. It is once again a private house after a spell in county council hands as a residential education and conference centre.

Spotlessly clean, great location. The price is very reasonable for the comfort and level of attentiveness at the hotel. We ate on site and the food was excellent, we ordered late night room service as well which was prompt and high quality.
