'Get Cosy' at The Hut on a working farm by the South Coast

Come and stay at our beautiful shepherds hut facing across the fields on our working farm. Net of wood for the fire pit included with stay.

We are situated on Hayling Island on the south coast between Portsmouth and Chichester near the stunning South Downs.

Within walking distance to a pub and a well stocked local Farm Shop.

Easy access to the Hayling Billy track, a great shoreline walk/cycle. South Downs - a short journey away with fantastic walks and views.

Close to various places of interest but far enough away to indulge in nature.

Lovely Weekend Getaway

Had a lovely weekend outside of London. They were nice enough to set us up with wood for the fire pit, and there’s a beautiful view of the stars at night!

Stunning property

The hut is perfect, it is equipped with everything you need and in a beautiful location. It’s clean and modern and so cosy. Nikki and Graham have made a perfect holiday home. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

A brilliant little hideaway for a weekend away

From the clear directions to find the hut to the basic supplies available in the hut, everything about our stay was relaxing and well thought out. Despite its size the hut doesn't feel tiny or cramped. The private garden area is sunny, with the young cows in the adjacent field providing endless entertainment! Thank you Nikki and Graham for the use of your little gem!

Cozy hut with a view over the cow fields

The hut was lovely although slightly smaller than it had looked in the photos. Well equipped with everything you need and a lovely little garden outside with a table and bench. It would have been nice if the living area was slightly larger as there wasn’t much floor space with suitcases etc.

Cute little hut for couple

Lovely little hut overlooking the farmers field, where the cows often come over. The hut is very clean, small but perfect for a couple of nights with everything you need. The evenings were great outside round the fire pit. First bag of wood provided then you can buy more from the owner. Nikki and Graham were very welcoming and friendly. Location was good with parking right next to hut. We walked to the local pubs, farm shop and Chinese takeaway. Also took the bus down to south hayling which was easy. And was a 5 minute drive in the car to take a boat trip seal watching. Thank you for our lovely stay, we hope to return one day.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was absolutely amazing! Nikki was so kind and got us enough wood for fire. And the hut is very clean and it has everything. Really liked the hut! Now we are going back to London thank you for the amazing hut!
