    The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean views, and you'll have a private oceanfront deck and a sound-side deck for viewing colorful sunsets. Elevator service to all levels makes Durant Station a most convenient choice for all ages: no need to haul luggage and groceries up long flights of stairs! You'll be just a few short steps to the ocean via a private wooden walkway. The Hatteras area offers some of the best fishing and sunbathing on the East Coast.

    Enjoy a host of amenities, including one of Hatteras Islands' largest private pools with an adjacent hot tub available from April 1 through January 2. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. The Community Center is ideal for relaxing with friends, conducting meetings, wedding parties, and receptions, or simply enjoying the lounge areas, which offer a large-screen 50-inch plasma TV and a complete kitchen on the upper level. The Durant Station complex consists of three floors, which start about 12 feet above the ground.

    This getaway is tastefully furnished and fully equipped with linens to make your stay comfortable and memorable. All new appliances were added at the end of 2022, along with fresh carpet in the bedrooms. Additional comforts include central air-conditioning, cable TV with HBO, satellite HDTV with DVR, wireless high-speed Internet for your laptop, solid surface counters in the kitchen, and sprinkler safety systems for your peace of mind. This second-floor home away from home provides a stackable washer/dryer.

    A large separate fish cleaning station, BBQ grills, and outdoor shower facilities complete the picture. The Durant Station Condominiums are located in Hatteras Village, oceanfront on Highway 12. Enjoy being beachfront and near local restaurants and shops.

    This home has access to a community pool, the community pools in our area are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community pools are operated at the discretion of the community HOA so the availability schedule may be subject to change without notice.

A great little spot!

The condo was super clean and everyone we encountered was so friendly. This place is charming! The walk over the beach is short and the beach is beautiful. This condo was perfect.

The Reel Deal had a beautiful view of the ocean. Clean condo with very nice people around to chat with. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking a relaxing time.

We'll Be Back!

Durant Station has all the amenities for a great time. Reel Deal is that, a great place. We especially love the on site of washer and dryer. Great location.

Family Trip to OBX

Wet clean. We loved staying here with our small kids cause the pool and beach were ver accessible. This was also a good place to stay in the Oter Banks cause it was not as commercialized down here.

Loved this condo and the location! It was very clean and will definitely be coming back! I cook a lot, and was surprised to see only one dish rag and one pot holder in the kitchen. Other than that, we loved it!

Great Get-a Way

Beautiful relaxing area. Wonderful view. Surprisingly comfortable bed and pillows. Luggage carts and elevator a major plus. Very clean and furnished nicely. Only complaint is that some of the minor issues were not addressed ie: a/c stopped working, patio door was an issue to open and close, running toilet. Nothing major, just very annoying.

A nice home away from home in the OBX

I think the owner provides a nice place to stay in Hatteras. The condo is nicely decorated and has all the supplies you would need. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. I also liked that both bedrooms had normal size beds in both bedrooms. It seems so many condos in the area are geared towards families with children so the rooms may contain twin beds. Adults don't care for that as much. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice condo with great view.

It’s a good size condo for two adults and two elementary school kids. It was clean and well stocked with everything, including made beds, toilet paper, kitchen stuff etc. Everything was in working order. One thing I really liked is high ceilings of the condo, not very common in US. The view was great, washer/drier in the unit, and elevator outside are a huge plus too. Overall, we really liked our stay and would do it again next time.

Epic BBR 100 Adventure

My friend and I came to OBX for the Blackbeards Revenge 100 ultra. Durant station was the perfect locale for our home base for the race. The beds were super comfortable and the view of the ocean and beach access were amazing. The dishwasher was broken but they had let us know when we were arriving that it was not working. There was discussion about someone coming to fix it but that did not happen so not sure what happened with that piece. Would definitely stay again!

Since 1994, we`ve been coming to OBX. Until last year, we`ve always gotten a house from a competitor. For the past 2 years we`ve stayed at Durant Station and LOVED IT! Lots of happy visitors, kind staff and both, different, properties were equally lovely and well cared for. #NEWTRADITION! Nicely appointed, beautifully decorated, lovely view. Appreciate a non smoking, pet free affordable place to spend a week enjoying one of most peaceful places on Earth. Rejuvenating!
