"We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with."

"The staff was very friendly, and the shuttle service went above and beyond. However, my bill had a number of charges from some other guests' TV box on it. It took several calls to get my statement corrected, and I was told the TV boxes are sometimes moved to other rooms and then not reprogrammed. CHECK your TV when you arrive. If it does not have your name on it contact the front desk immediately."

"The property and the village square was very good . When we checked in they didn’t have a room that we booked - they told my husband that we only booked one queen bed when we booked two and they gave us a suite but one of us had to sleep on the couch as we had our son with us."

"The hotel was very well maintained, friendly staff. The bed was very soft and comfortable, the pillows were soft as well. Full size shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion, big tv. There was a refrigerator but no microwave. Big bathroom with plenty of soft towels. The pool was heated and plenty of towels as well. Overall, I had a wonderful and relaxing time, I would definitely come back to stay here."

"When we arrived at the hotel in the morning, we were told we could leave our luggage, but the restaurant was having electrical issues, so we would have to eat at other nearby restaurants. However, when we returned in the evening to check in, we were informed that our room also had electrical problems—specifically, the air conditioning wasn't working, making it uncomfortable. They offered to cancel our stay on the spot. We were shocked and forced to look for another hotel immediately;...

"Everything was great!"

"Clean and good-sized rooms. Nice pool and very comfortable beds. The most outstanding feature was the chef and the breakfast. Chef Nell and Edwin were wonderfully welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was great. Other staff were just OK. Reception desk seemed stressed and/or under-staffed. Housekeeping did not attend to our room at all during our 2-night stay and we had to request towels twice. But overall excellent value and would recommend to others."

"We were very disappointed - the website and other online information say that there is an outdoor pool. When we arrived, we were told that it has been two years since they had a pool (meanwhile, there are still signs up at the hotel for where the pool was). There was trash outside of some of the first floor doors that was not picked up while we were staying there. The elevator did not work so we had to carry out luggage up the stairs - I can't remember a hotel not having a functional elevator. I...

"The hotel was great. The bedding very comfortable, the property very clean, the breakfast excellent. What was not good was the attitude of the woman at the counter. No welcoming personality whatsoever. She is in the wrong business. She needs to get a job where she is not dealing with the public, especially a hotel that should be welcoming."

"This was our third visit to The Ivy. We chose to celebrate our 10th anniversary there and we were not disappointed at all. The staff is always top notch from the moment you arrive. Mr. Calvin, Miles, Alex, Valencia, Cynthia and all others treated us like family. I heartily recommend The Ivy to any and all who will listen."
