Summary:

Maisonnets invites you to experience this 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom pet-friendly house, featuring an in-ground heated swimming pool, a spacious backyard with decking, lawn, and a gas BBQ. The combined living/dining/kitchen area is spacious, with the kitchen offering quality Miele appliances. Well located, it’s a short walk to Miami Beach and a choice of cafes, with the live music venue Miami Marketta also close by. Surfers Paradise is 20 minutes’ drive away, while Warner Bros Movie World, Wet n Wild, and Sea World are all just a little further by car.



The Space:

Enter the property from the street and the first thing you’ll come to is a covered carport with landscaped garden beds to the right and to the left, a heated in-ground swimming pool surrounded by a frameless glass security fence. Alfresco furniture on the surrounding wooden deck allows you to sit back and enjoy the sun.



You’ll then enter the house into a roomy kitchen/living/dining area with polished floorboards throughout and wall-mounted reverse-cycle aircon. The kitchen features funky, angled subway tiling and loads of bench space for food prep, as well as a separate island bench. Miele appliances include an induction cooktop, under-bench oven, under-bench microwave, and dishwasher. There’s also a large double-door Fisher & Paykel fridge with water dispenser and icemaker, and a coffee machine. The lounge area comes with a comfy L-shaped sofa and a huge wall-mounted ‘smart’ flat screen TV with Foxtel. A dining table seats 6 people (with a child’s high chair also available), standing near glass stacker doors which lead out to the pool area.



The house has 3 bedrooms, all with reverse-cycle air-con and planation shutters. Queen sized beds are in 2 of the bedrooms, with one of the rooms also providing stacker doors that open out to a large backyard with its own wooden deck and chairs overlooking a lawn area. Back inside the house, a third bedroom comes with a double bed. The house’s main bathroom offers a roomy shower recess with a frameless glass screen and stylish tile work, while a separate powder room has a toilet and wash basin. Laundry needs are taken care of in a European-style laundry, providing a Fisher & Paykel front loader washing machine and an LG dryer, with an outdoor clothesline also available.



This house is pet friendly for an extra fee and pets must be vetted first.



The Neighborhood:

Known for its beautiful beach and laidback lifestyle, Miami is a coastal suburb on Queensland’s Gold Coast, a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise, yet far enough away to enjoy a quiet, relaxed holiday if that’s your preference. The house itself is perfectly located, just a stroll to Miami Beach and a choice of cafes. Live music fans will enjoy being 7 minutes walk away from the Miami Marketta, which also puts on night markets on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Warner Bros Movie World, Wet n Wild and Sea World are all just under 30 minutes drive away.



Getting Around:

The house comes with off-street parking under a carport, as well as ample free street parking. For guests who prefer public transport, bus services can be caught a few minutes walk from the house.

* **Check-in Process:** Our concierge will meet you upon arrival. As they do not live on-site, please let us know your arrival time well in advance. The concierge's details will be sent to you 2 to 3 days before your check in day provided your Truvi ID verification has been successfully completed. Note: a $40 fee applies for check-ins after 8 pm.



* **Long-Term Stays:** For bookings longer than one month, a mandatory full cleaning and linen change is scheduled every 4 weeks to keep the house fresh for your extended stay. This will be added to your total booking amount.

Excellent house - terrible management

Lovely house, great location and we enjoyed our stay very much. Unfortunately we were responsible for braking a plastic chair and a glass top to a wicker coffee table. I'm a big guy - 6'3", 140kg and snapped the chair in two when I sat on the chair, falling onto my coccyx. I was happy to replace the chair and was told by Mara the property manager that it would cost 55 to replace and that i was lucky because they were "on special". The chair wasn't purchased though until two weeks later when it was no longer on special and was charged 89. When i questioned it i was told by Mara that i wasn't charged for collection and delivery of the chair because that was done in good faith and inferred that I should be grateful.The glass top was broken when we tried to move it and was told by Mara that similar tops had been broken before and it would cost "about 150". Turns out the quote was over 300 from a glazier and I was told it was cheaper to just buy a whole new coffee table for 270. Discussions with Mara after this became confrontational and my wife and I found Mara to be quite aggressive and disrespectful in her replies to our questions. We then asked that no further money be deducted from our credit card without our authorisation which Mara agreed to and said we would invoiced for the replacement coffee table. Today we had 500 taken from our credit card by Maisonettes (property mgmt company) which we are now trying to get answers for from Maisonettes.

Lovely Property

What a lovely home, very clean and very well equipped. Lovely quiet area, just a walk up the street to the beach. Great dog friendly home, well fenced with a nice grassy area. We had a lovely long weekend. Would love to stay longer next time

Convenient comfortable coastal abode

We have just returned to Central Qld after spending a glorious week on the GC. We were primarily down on the GC for kids sport and from previous experience of renting pet friendly holiday homes we didn’t expect much! This property however far exceeded our expectations and was exactly as listed! From the moment we arrived it was lovely to feel so at home. This home really does tick all the boxes for a family vacation as it is so well equipped! We made full use of the pool which the kids loved jumping in as soon as they could after our long car journey! We used it every day and it was useful for sport recovery after their long days playing football. The kitchen is modern and well equipped we cooked simple meals and also enjoyed some local restaurants and take away options. Every morning we walked along the lovely esplanade which is only a couple of hundred metres away and grabbed our morning coffees! The beach is dog friendly (on leash) just remember to stay away from the bathing areas. The cafes along the coast path are amazing and also very dog friendly with some having dog treats available. Being a family of 4 we very much appreciated the laundry facilities with a great washing machine and dryer which again we made full use of, there was also the bonus of some washing liquid! Beds are all comfortable and we all slept very well as it’s so quiet! We will definitely be back again!!! Thank you ☺️

Short break in Miami Beach

We had a lovely stay. The house was airy and well laid out with comfy furnishings and all we needed in the kitchen. Loved the loo wallpaper! The pool was a bonus - great to loll about in at the end of the day. And close to the beach and all we wanted to do during the week. Mara made check in a breeze and was super helpful with local tips. Would very highly recommend if you’re after a super-chilled place to stay

Fantastic

My husband and I had a great stay. The property had everything we needed. It was a easy walk to the beach, which was a great morning swim ritual with the dog. Then back for an outdoor warm shower. The property was very clean.

The property was easy to find and we were greeted by friendly Sol who showed us around the property and ensured we had eveything we needed. Communication was amazing throughout our stay by Mara. Clean tiday and spacious property with everything we needed. Quiet & secure area, short walk to beach.The pool was great we had endless fun in it during the night also due to the pool being heated. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed & a few board games to entertain us. Would stay again and highly recommend. Thanks Team.

Fabulous house in great location

Stayed here with my husband and my two boys plus dog. Was exceptionally clean. Kitchen was fabulous, bed’s super comfortable and location was a very short walk to the beach. Very quiet. Lovely pool and was able to park car in drive for easy unpacking. Very secure. Property manager was great, the place felt homely and we really enjoyed our time here. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Family Easter holiday

Lovely people to deal with. Beautiful property, so nicely renovated. Walking distance to the beach, coffee shops. An added extra to have the pool. We loved it, and would definitely book with this group again.
