How long is it since you saw a fish leap in sun-dappled water?
From my delightful one-bedroom apartment, you can look out over the lovely pool area to the beautifully clear aquamarine water of Bell Channel beyond. Watch the sparkling white pleasure craft sail by throughout the day. Admire the reflections during the calm early morning and evening times and watch for those fish breaking the surface. If you feel so-inclined you could even try to catch some!

The unit consists of an entrance hall, one bedroom with a queen size bed and ample storage, a living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are light and airy with ceiling fans and air-conditioning and the kitchen is well equipped with excellent appliances. The living/dining room has one whole wall of glass doors opening onto the balcony - perfect for al fresco dining!
The attractive pool area is well furnished with a bar on the waters edge where you can relax with a cool drink and enjoy the waterside location.


Beauport Court: The apartment is located in the sought after Lucaya area, just minutes walk from beautiful white sand beaches and the ever-popular Port Lucaya Marketplace with its lively atmosphere, colourful shops and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.
The buildings of Beauport Court are two-storey, white-walled and red-roofed in the attractive Spanish style and set in neatly landscaped ground with palm trees and other tropical foliage. The attractive pool area is well furnished with a bar on the waters edge where you can relax with a cool drink and enjoy the waterside location.

There are laundry facilities on the complex. Public buses are available at the end of the street and a well-stocked supermarket can be reached by a two minute bus ride or a fifteen minute walk.
Car and scooter rental are also available at the end of the street

Location and Amenities: The island boasts an excellent infrastructure for modern day living, including good roads, public transport and reliable power, telephone, internet and utilities.

There is a championship standard golf courses across the street, world class scuba diving, excellent boating and good fishing. There are various sports and social clubs, a theatre, cinemas and a wide choice of fine dining from the delicious local Bahamian fare to a range of international cuisine and gourmet restaurants.

Grand Bahama is just a short 25 minute flight from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or the Bahamas capital, Nassau, all of which have a range of available and affordable flights from UK.

The Bahamas: Spread over a large expanse of Atlantic Ocean, the 700 islands of The Bahamas bask in breezy semi-tropical sunshine all year. About one hundred of the islands are minimally inhabited, and just a small handful has any kind of sizable population.
Starting just 50 miles from the Florida coast, the archipelago swoops southeast for some 600 miles, almost to Haiti and Cuba. The capital, Nassau, is located on New Providence, while the second city, Freeport, is on Grand Bahama. The other islands, known as the Family Islands, including Andros, The Abacos, Eleuthera, & The Exumas, are accessible, thanks to the small, but very reliable, local airlines.
The greatest asset of these islands is the incredible sea, which they ornament. Colours range from pale crystal green in the Bahama banks to deep regal blue in Exuma Sound and the awesomely deep Tongue of the Ocean. The water is so clear that you hardly need a snorkel mask to view the amazing array of marine life at the countless coral reef

Conveniently located near the Lucaya Market and Lucaya Beach. I felt very secure in the condo. It was an easy "cab" ride to the grocery. The condo was clean; the kitchen well stocked with utensils, cookware, and dishes. Beach towels and snorkeling gear were provided.

The location was good. Description was accurate. I always worry about the bed—it was comfortable. Living room furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was outfitted well—appreciated the pots and pans were in good condition. Ivan took us for groceries and a bit of a tour which was really appreciated. If we ever return to Grand Bahamas we would stay here again.

This little condo met our needs perfectly. It has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. The host are kind and helpful. The location is perfect for the market. Very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view. It is a voters dream!!

This rental is very comfortable. Host was very accommodating and extremely helpful. Pat met us at the apt and reviewed everything; her husband even took us for groceries as it was pouring rain! Location is fantastic. Everything you need is walkable and beautiful Lucyan Beach is a 7 minute walk. The grounds and pool are very well kept. Neighbours are lovely people and very welcoming. Perfect for a couple and a quiet time away.

nice apartment

The spacious apartment is fine, with lots of useful amenities and a wonderful view of the pool and harbor a little further. The furniture in the kitchen and bathroom is a bit old, but absolutely does not freeze the use of these rooms. The beach is 10 minutes walk. It takes 5 minutes walk to go to Port Lucaya where there are shops and restaurants. 20mn walk (one way) to go to the supermarket on the main road. There is also a car rental 2 minutes from the apartment (very convenient and not very expensive). Patricia is very friendly and even took us by car to the supermarket. Thank you to her for this kind gesture!! The only negative point is the spring mattress that is really to change!! you feel the springs when you are lying. Didn’t sleep very well because of it. It’s a pity because everything else is really very well...

Great holiday

This property is in the perfect location for port lucaya marketplace, souvenir shops, restaurants unesco, beaches and water taxi to taino beach resort. There is a very good car hire place called Bowes car hire and taxis just behind Wendy's. Lucaya watersports are very good for snorkling and jet skiing. The owners, Pat and Ivan are very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this condo.

Perfect quiet island getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the living room and balcony was spectacular! Great little fishing spot. Loved walking to the Port Lucaya Marketplace just about every day. We rented a car and were able to see many of the sites, Garden of the Groves, Gold Rock Beach, Pinder’s Point Lighthouse and the fish market in Freeport. Highly recommend! Thanks Ivan and Pat.

Nice Setting

This older condo is located in the perfect spot on GBI - walk to the beach, the market and many restaurants— this is an older condo, well-kept with a gorgeous view, quiet and pretty pool, but could use some upgrades on linens, kitchen supplies and patio furniture. The host is very nice and great communication and easy to work with. It’s a great place for 2 adults to stay.

Great Place

We stayed at this apartment from March 8th till April 29th 2019. When we arrived we found everything just as the information had stated. It was just the right size for the two of us. All the essentials were there. It is very convenient - the grocery store, the beach and Port Lucaya all within walking distance. We did not rent a vehicle - this worked very well for us. We spent many hours sitting on the balcony or at the pool reading and enjoying the view. The whole time there we were able to just use the fans and did not have to turn on the air conditioner. Pat was great to deal with - from our first contact with her inquiring about the rental. She always replied in a very short time and answered any questions we had. On the day we were to check in she picked us up - stopped at the apartment so we could leave our baggage, then drove us to Solomons Grocery so we could pick up our first supplies. Then drove us back, this was a real bonus. If we needed anything she was just a phone call away. All and all a very good experience. Hopefully we get to return in the future.
