"Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"

"Through Expedia, I've been able to secure several nice stays for budget prices. This was a different, inferior experience. They tried to make it seem 'economy' .I was annoyed by automatic messages from 'Harry' telling me to text after 2 for a code, when check in started and when I'd arrive by pre-arranged means. I needed to swiftly check in but when I texted a little earlier to ensure my instructions arrived on time, I got an immediate response "19 mins and counting!" Then, when in the adjacent...

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay of just over 2 weeks. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Had a lovely top floor single room an nice skylight window. The Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Grab and Go breakfast was a good option too. The Italian Restaurant was great and open for lunch and dinner. Food and Service was excellent. The Cornhill is perfectly located with plenty of shops and places to snack or take away. Plenty a local...
