"The room was modern and clean with a great view of Miller Lake. Unfortunately I did the self check-in, in the dark with rain pouring down and couldn't locate the property for 20 minutes. Lighting on the signage or street number is recommended. A bit of a game-changer that sticks with me is that they don't use a top sheet. I get that people do this at home, but not for guest-use....eew!"

"This was a beautiful place to stay. Well looked after. The staff were so helpful and friendly. My only down side on this is it was a little pricey because there wes sports and dance recitals. Every time something goes on hotels raise their rates which i think is disgusting "

"Checked out a day early due to not feeling very safe. The place is very outdated. Coffee in the room was a year expired, breakfast is very basic. Lock on the room don't feel very secure. As a single female staying there I did not feel very safe."

"I noticed the hotel is still using the older tech Mifare Classic 1K hotel guest room RFID cards which provide less security than more modern Mifare Ultralight C guest room RFID cards used by some of the other hotels in the Halifax Convention Center proximity. Not a show stopper if you are prudent with the security of your guest room card. k. "

"Room 105, door is broken, doesn’t close right, it smells very musty, others in the hotel on the 1st floor was loud, after 1am , breakfast wasn’t cooked and pancakes came out like white bread shape circles..scrambled eggs were slimy..the ham was deli ham fried..we have stayed in this hotel many of years but this will be our last time staying in this hotel..sad the owner let it go down to a 1 star hotel.."
