"This is a small, quaint hotel run by locals in the style of a hostel. We arrived way early and were allowed to swim in the pool for a few hours which was great! The common area is a great place to meet others, and the staff was very nice. We were very happy with this authentic stay and would return."

Villa area is a home for ferrel cats. Pool area dirty. Looks like no repairs or upkeep since hurricane. Didn't feel safe walking the property. Expedia should remove this hotel from their site. "

"The resort had nice rooms with good amenities. The check in and out Staff were pretty stiff and seemed not to be enjoying their jobs. No smiles at greetings or check out. The guys who drove us to our room was excellent and friendly. We counted over a 100 steps to carry our bags up to check out and it would of been nice to offer a ride back up the steep incline. The girl who check us out said it wasn't an option."

"I had a 3day stay at Islam view and the service was exceptional. The staff members were all friendly, polite and attentive. I had an issue with my room location and they addressed it and changed it immediately. The stake-house was amazing (a bit pricey, but worth it). "Super friendly place in a great location. You can borrow beach chairs, coolers, beach bags, floats..Our rooms had tons of storage. We did not eat breakfast there as it opens at 8:30 and we were on the road by then. Rum punch every night was a nice touch! I will definitely stay there again. "

"The view was great. Parking was great as well. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. They need an update on painting, a lot of chipped paint through out.
