"The hotel was great but the 3rd party shuttle service was horrible. It was an issue with being picked up at the airport. Almost an hour late and poor communication. The driver was wreck less. Same with the shuttle diver to pier 66 the next morning."

On the plus side, the place is very clean, smells fresh, and provides fresh towels. However, they are quite stingy with toiletries—only one sachet of shampoo and conditioner, and the soap was poor quality. A bit of a red flag: the receptionist mentioned several times that drugs (specifically opioids) were prohibited, which made me feel like this might be a common issue...

"At 2am tree trimming. The place looked old needs upgrading. No water bottle provided. The cleaning was excellent. They charge for parking."

"This is a boutique urban hotel. Clever funky design and comfortable beds. Not a lot of frills but definitely had what I wanted and needed. Staff was excellent and extremely helpful. Room was very clean. Did not use parking or airport shuttle but did take light rail which goes directly to airport and is about 4 blocks from hotel. Hotel is within walking distance of many major points of interest. Would stay there again for sure."

"Where do I even start? What a wonderful hotel! We arrived late at night and were greeted by a night porter who was fantastic. The hotel is brand new—it feels like a beautiful old mansion that has been tastefully renovated. It’s so fresh that you can still smell the paint in some areas! Being an older building, the floors creak a bit, and we did hear a loud mechanical noise at night (possibly the AC system), but it didn’t ruin the experience at all. The room was spotless, the towels were high...

"The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Polar Bar had excellent service and plenty of drinks to choose from. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Super close to the ball field and the waterfront was within walking distance as well. We would stay here again!"
