OCEAN VIEWS, 2nd row, quiet area, private pool & volleyball court!

Enjoy your vacation and make memories at our Second row beach house with Ocean Views from both decks, a refreshing Ocean breeze, private HEATED (March - Oct, as needed) pool and volleyball court! Avoid hour LONG waits getting onto the island June - August by checking in FRIDAY. Home is located off Coast Guard Road so you can avoid ALL the traffic going into Emerald Isle plus it is located at the end of its street, so traffic is minimal.

The 3rd floor has 2 Bedrooms (each with King Size Beds) that open up to the covered deck with awesome Beach Views. Each bedroom has a bathroom attached. The one bath also has a door that can be accessed by the 3rd floor living room/bunk bed area (Full over Full). There is a door to this room.

The 2nd floor has 2 Bedrooms (one King Size Bed & one Full over Full Bunk Bed), one bath, laundry closet, and an open Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen. The 2nd story has a very deep deck with great Ocean Views has a picnic table, swinging bench and is accessed via the LR and DR.

The 1st floor (ground floor) has an extra room (one Queen Bed & a twin over twin bunk bed), and a open setting with a Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room with a FOOSBALL TABLE. The LR and DR open up to a cement patio underneath the decks with a BEAN BAG TOSS & access to the Pool & Volleyball Court.

Pool electric heat pump won't work below 55 degrees, so November -February the pool is not available. Possibly November if it is unseasonably warm - we would need to chat.

Child friendly, Minimum age 24. Please No Pets, No Smoking INSIDE, No weddings, bachelorette/bachelor parties, prom parties or spring break parties without parent chaperones who stay the entire time. March and April, manager will meet guests with house keys and if it's a high school group with chaperones we may check back.

Beds: (3) King + (1) Queen + (2) Full over Full bunks + (1) Twin over twin bunk bed.
Baths (4)

Practical extras include free WiFi/internet, cable, TVs in all Bedrooms & all 3 Living Rooms (50 inches), one fully stocked kitchen, charcoal grill, 2 outside showers (one enclosed, one not enclosed), ample deck furniture for outdoor living & beautiful ocean views.

Home rents weekly Friday or Saturday TO Friday or Saturday (June through the 1st weekend in Sept). Friday to Friday helps you avoid major bridge traffic so we encourage this option! Flexible arrival/departure days during the Winter, Spring, and Fall.

Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom linens provided, as well as, bathroom and kitchen hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, fabric softener, basic spices, 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom & a paper towels roll in each kitchen. Linens are delivered the morning you arrive and are taken away the day you leave. Smoking is not allowed inside the house and we are NOT pet friendly. We do follow the regulations for service & emotional support animals. Our linen and maid service are honored to do exceptional work for you. Please repay them with the same kindness and leave the house in a manner in which you would leave your home.

Call Island Essentials (252-354-8887) if you need beach chairs and umbrellas. Please bring your own beach gear including towels!

• Historic Beaufort (45 minutes away) NC’s 3rd Oldest Town, Waterfront Gift-shopping, NC Maritime Museum, kayak trips over to the Island full of wild Ponies. Blackbeard's house. 1700's Cemetery with a few Revolutionary War Soldiers laid to rest in it.

• Cape Lookout Lighthouse (45 minute car ride, then a boat ride over to the Island). Take your bathing suit and gear!

• Cedar Point - Two Outside Markets with food and homemade crafted vendor items!

Emerald Isle House

This property was amazing. The best “stocked kitchen” I’ve ever seen in a rental! Was able to actually meet Valerie, the host, and there aren’t enough wonderful things to say about her! She was so helpful months before our trip, communicating details that made our stay perfect. When we met Valerie it was clear that our comfort was priority to her. The location was perfect with beach a few minutes walk away. The neighbors were friendly and neighborhood felt safe. 10 star rating for Valerie and this wonderful property! Can’t wait to plan another stay!

Great 2nd Row Beach House

This wonderful house on Emerald Isle was perfect for our large family get-together! Having two kitchens made preparing Thanksgiving Dinner easy. Also--a big shout-out to our Host Valerie for being so quick to respond to all of our requests and for being extremely friendly!

Book this house!!

This house was amazing!!! It was by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The kids had so much fun playing volleyball, cornhole, and swimming. The beach access was a very easy one minute walk. The host is more than gracious and has great commutation. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Family vacay

The location of this house is fantastic. The beach access is extremely close. Valerie was great. Any questions we had regarding the property were addressed promptly and she made recommendations for restaurants, golf cart access,etc. My niece left her favorite shoes and Valerie mailed them. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent communication and prompt response

We enjoyed our stay SO MUCH! We were a large group (Myself, my dad, my mom, my son, his spouse and their 3 kids, my daughter, her spouse and their 3 kids). The layout of the home is perfect for large groups. Having 2 kitchens was amazing at mealtimes. The outdoor space and volleyball court (sandbox to my grandchildren😉) were amazing and the pool was a great size for the little kids and adults alike. Host responded immediately when we realized grill was out of gas and a new tank was brought and hooked up within 30 minutes. Great access to beach either direction. Great stay with great host!!!

Very pleasant stay

The house was as it was advertised. They had a lot of the extra amenities in there. Would have loved a couple of extra fans for the rooms. But also not a big deal at all. Beds were comfortable. I'd stay again.

The BEST

The best neighborhood. The best house. The best location to the beach. The best host!!! We had the most amazing week! We lucked out with a last minute cancellation and feel so blessed that we met Valerie and were able to rent her house for the week. The neighborhood is perfect for a golf cart rental and morning walks with a stroller. It’s clean and safe and has a park in walking distance! The house itself was perfect! Amazing ocean views (and you can hear the ocean) - plenty of space inside and outside! Very clean and everything was in great condition. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware and utensils. Valerie was responsive, attentive, personable, accommodating and so kind! We are already booked to come back next summer and we can’t wait!

Long Holiday Weekend Getaway

Perfect house for a large group of friends / family!! Sand Volleyball court and pool are perfect activities not to mention the beach right across the street. Highly recommend!!

First time, second row

Our dream was always to spend every Thanksgiving at the beach and we have been to Emerald Isle for 23 years straight. Grandchildren have always loved it and have made many memories there. This property is great, providing space for gathering or for finding a place a little away from hubbub.

Fresh with Ample Amenities

As soon as we walked in after quite a long travel day, we broke into "oohs and ahhs". It just clean, bright and accommodating. The owner has thought of so much to help make our stay easy and fun. The pool and volleyball court were a hit! This is in part because the owner supplied the balls and pool toys. Her beach chairs were being used at the beach, of course, and along side the volleyball court. Helpful for my 83-year-old mom. The decks were where we were most when not away from our home away from home. The view and sound of the ocean is surprisingly good from being across the street. I highly recommend this home for large groups.

Wonderful Weekend despite rainy weather!

Valerie is quite possibly the kindest host of any rental property I’ve used! It’s obvious she cares deeply about the experience and comfort of her guests and we felt that the entire length of our stay. The house is well situated near a public beach access but offered enough to keep us entertained through a tropical storm! The kitchen was also well stocked with equipment and spices which was helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a nice place with close access to the beach and the manager was responsive. The pool guy came on Saturday (we did not know he was going to come) and there is lots of stairs (for those with older family) spacious for our group and loved the second level porch.

Best Property Management!!

We booked this for a last minute getaway when a cancelation opened the house up. Valerie was great to deal with. Much better than the rental agencies we have gone through for 20+ years. The property was great with a seprate kitchen/living area so the kids had their own space. The beach access was basically right across the street. We had a great time!

Val is the Best!!!

This place is amazing. All you need to know. Valerie, the manager, is just a pleasure! Anything you need she is incredibly responsive. The house is steps away from the beach. We sat and drank chai while listening to the waves and watching the ocean. The neighbors was super friendly. We got some great beach runs in. The kids love it every time. Thank you 🙏

Great family vacation spot

We loved this house for our recent family vacation. We had 8 adults & 7 kids (some teens) with us. Everyone had a great time! The location was great in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. It's a very easy walk to the beach, and we loved having the pool and volleyball court for fun at the house. There were plenty of pool chairs and outdoor seating on the decks and lots of outdoor/pool toys and board games as well. The house was clean with very well-stocked kitchens (any size pot or pan you need, serving bowls, storage containers, etc.). We prepared most of our meals in the bigger kitchen, but it was great to have the second ktichen/refrigerator downstairs to store food and drinks. The large decks off of the kitchen and some of the bedrooms were amazing for meals and relaxing and listening to the sounds of the ocean. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we come back to NC! We got to meet the host on the first day as well. She offered helpful directions ahead of the stay, and offered for us to reach out if we needed anything during the stay.

Absolutely Awesome

Valerie made sure that our stay was perfect. She had the best communication of any host we’ve ever had. We had one issue with the Roku & she took time out of her day to swing by and fix it. We would certainly use her again if we make it back. The place is perfectly placed with everything within a few minutes drive. Gaffers have us the best food ever! We had a great time.
