We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. "stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again."

"easily the best place I've stayed this year. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, and everything exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole hotel felt well run and inviting. Fantastic value for money in a great location. I'll definitely be staying here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Didn’t expect much with the price (and the main photo is of a service station Costa) but just need a quick stop off. Really loud room, it was facing away from the motorway, but nicely has air conditioners (or something) in a court yard outside the window . About 3 hrs sleep. Lady on reception was great though, didn’t get a name, but she was the shiny light in tired old hotel (ask if they’re hiring at the Mercury 😉)"

"Stopped over to break a long journey, great hotel. The staff made it, all really friendly and bent over backwards to help. The food was great, varied menu with some nice twists, and everything we ate was spot on. Great pool too. A little tired in some outside areas (bit of new render wouldn’t go a miss) but lovely grounds. Will definitely use again if passing through and need a refreshing stop."
