Tucked away in El Cajon, this flashback retreat features a private yard, BBQ grill, and the perfect setup for laid-back spring evenings. From the funky blue exterior to the cozy interior touches, Bettie brings the fun for a one-of-a-kind escape.



    **Bettie Blue Retro Retreat**



    Your one-of-a-kind RV adventure awaits between the Laguna Hills and the coast of San Diego, nestled in sunny East County. Glamp in style with the 2019 Retro Riverside trailer, featuring modern amenities combined with mid-century teardrop design. Bettie Blue comfortably sleeps 2 adults. A designated parking spot is just steps from the trailer. Come enjoy flashback fun in a Retro RV!



    To help ensure a smooth stay, all guests are required to complete a brief rental agreement and point-of-contact form after booking. Check-in instructions will be sent once this is completed.



    Cozy and Comfortable

    Bettie Blue offers approximately 144 square feet of cozy living space, including:

    - A Queen walk-around bed for two adults

    - A dining table that converts into a compact twin bed for one small adult or two small children

    - Dining area, refrigerator with freezer, and a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker (pods or ground coffee), small propane stove, microwave, hot plate, and toaster oven

    - Basic kitchen essentials, including cups, plates, wine opener, and silverware

    - Bathroom with a very small shower, stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and RV toilet paper

    - Ice-cold A/C, high-speed Wi-Fi, TV with Amazon Firestick, DVD, and stereo



    Outdoor Serenity

    Relax outside at your private sitting area featuring:

    - A propane firepit for cozy evenings under the stars

    - Charcoal BBQ for grilling

    - Comfortable seating on your personal patio



    House Rules and Policies

    -Please note: all guests must complete a short rental agreement after booking. Check-in instructions are provided once the agreement is signed.

    -An additional $100 cleaning fee will be applied for stays over 20 days.

    -We welcome one well-behaved dog for a $75 pet fee (no cats or other pets, please).

    -Dogs are not allowed to be left in the trailer at any time. You must take your dog with you whenever you leave the property.

    - Quiet hours: 9 PM to 9 AM

    - No parties or events

    - Maximum occupancy: 2 people

    - Parking: 1 small car only. Larger vehicles or any other vehicles must use street parking

    - Guests staying over 7 days are responsible for additional paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner and coffee after using the starter pack provided.

    - **NO flushable wipes are allowed in the toilets**. Fees will be charged for clogged plumbing due to improper disposal



    Shared Space and Neighborly Etiquette

    This is a private property with a main residence where the host lives, two RVs, and a tiny home. Bettie Blue is located next to another retro trailer, Darling Daisy. During your stay, other guests may be staying in Darling Daisy or the tiny home. Please be mindful of noise and respect each other’s designated parking and yard areas.

Amenities offered were great. Host was friendly. Only issue was there quite a few ants somehow making there way into the dwelling which made things a bit inconvenient. However, overall not a bad stay.

Perfect stay

We came down to Cali to get away from the Canadian cold and this little place was perfect for our family of three. Great location , cozy comfy Christmas for us :)

I really enjoyed my stay here at Bettie Blue. I loved how clean the RV was upon my arrival. You can tell that Atlanta really put a lot of of love and care into the property. It was decorated very well and she thought about the little things that people may need during their stay. I highly recommend anyone looking to stay in a RV book with Atlanta overall 10 out of 10 experience.

I had a great stay in Bettie Blue. She is exactly as described. It was hot during my stay. The AC worked great. Atalnta was very responsive to questions.

Birthday trip

When we got there everything was so nice.. was able to check in early witch was nice after a 6 hour drive.. loves the personal welcome sign she left for us and saying happy birthday.. we will be back but next time with the family

Very cute

This camper is all charm. As expected, it is really small especially the bathroom. This is a perfect option if you just need a cute clean and overall comfortable place to sleep. Hosts are great and the stay was really pleasant.

Fun way to stay

Worked well for what it is. Small space as advertised. Cute, clean and comfortable. Outdoor patio area is a nice addition to that space. Great location to access beaches and downtown. Two night stay with one adult and two kids. Host was friendly and quick to respond via email. Would stay there again.

Great experience. I use to do a lot of RV camping so I was used to this sort setup. The small RV was very tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Communication with host was quick and responsive. Atalanta was amazing. Thank you.

This place was so fun! I loved having a beachy weekend where I could see my SD friends without staying with them. The trailer was perfect and the location is convenient to everything in Ocean Beach. I was concerned that the airport noise would be a problem, but I turn up the fan on the trailer and it was the perfect white noise. There were cookies, water and coffee all prepared, too. Lots of signs on how to operate everything so no need to do a walk-through with Atalanta if you don’t want to take the time. She’s lovely though!! And even though the trailer is in her backyard, I felt like there was adequate privacy. If you’re looking for a slightly unconventional weekend, in a very bohemian town, you’ll love this place.

Cozy Retreat

We spent two nights in this adorable Retro RV by the Sea and enjoyed every moment. Nice and cozy for my daughter and myself. Beautiful atmosphere made us feel right at home. Nice touches and thoughtful amenities. Thank you for sharing your lovely retreat. We were blessed!

We had the very best stay and could not get over how efficient the owner was at making sure we knew how to use this retro RV. It was beautiful, clean and close to the beach. It surpassed all of our expectations!!

Retro RV by the Sea

Very clean. Everything functional. Much more fun than a typical apartment or hotel room. Owner is friendly and accommodating, and lives on premises so any issues can be quickly attended to.
