  • 3 casas de vacaciones bien equipadas, todas con sala de estar 3 dormitorios 2 cuartos de baño 1 baño con ducha para 6 personas 2 dormitorios con cama doble 1 dormitorio con dos camas individuales en cada cabaña acceso para sillas de ruedas en la planta baja. Ubicado en los terrenos de Bowden Springs Fishery con pesca disponible todo el año. Cubierta en la parte trasera con vistas vírgenes de los alrededores. Linlithgow 10-15 minutos en coche y Edimburgo y Glasgow son fácilmente accesibles en coche o en tren desde Linlithgow cada 25-40 minutos en tren. Linlithgow en sí está lleno de historia que alberga el Palacio Real, que fue el lugar de nacimiento de María, Reina de Escocia. La calle principal cuenta con muchos bares y restaurantes locales y algunas pequeñas tiendas muy interesantes. Las atracciones locales alrededor de Linlithgow incluyen los Kelpies (míticos caballos de agua), la rueda Falkirk y la Casa de Binns, por nombrar solo algunos. 20 minutos te lleva al sur de Queensferry con el impresionante puente ferroviario y el puente de la carretera. My family and I had a wonderful week at this cottage. It is perfectly situated for exploring all the historic and modern sites and places of interest within central scotland. Short drives to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.The big bonus is the two fishing lakes onsite, so don't forget your fly fishing equipment (like I did ) I did manage to get a few hours in at the end of my holiday. All in all a very good relaxing holiday was had by all,and yes we will return sometime in the near future.

Beautiful location and such a clean and comfortable cottage. The location allowed us to explore the whole region and my kids are already wanting to go back!

Jim who is the owner was great. Any time we had a question or needed something he was available to give us guidance. The property was beautiful. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It was really nice being out in the country but very easy to get to food stores and the cute town of Linlithgow.

Jim is very friendly and his property was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It’s only about a ten minute drive from the center of Linlithgow and so very accessible to many places in Central Scotland. The view from the cottage was quintessentially Scottish - rolling hills and sheep! The drive up to the cottage was a little like a ride on a wooden rollercoaster so be prepared!

An amazing stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet after a long day exploring the cities and travelling, this is a wonderful place to come back to and enjoy the serenity.Can not fault it at all. Close to the town of Linlithgow for all your supplies and close to a main freeway for travelling.

The cottage is in a lovely quiet and convenient location. However, we'd like to note that both the ironing board and airer were broken, and no hairdryer was provided. The host was very friendly, but we feel he could pay more attn to detail prior to a let.

A stunning view of the countryside, a lovely place to stay

The cottages are located in a beautiful area with an amazing view of the hills. We were really happy to spend our days here and we had the pleasure to meet the host in person and it has been a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for making our stay such a wonderful and special experience.

Fantastic

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and great location. Ideal base for visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow. Linlithgow Palace is definitely worth visiting. Perfect holiday home - we didn’t want to leave.

Our stay in Carriber cottages.

The Carriber cottages were very smart,tidy,and well worth the money,we had a fantastic 10 days stay there,and the hosts Jim and Jacki were very dlightful and very helpful,we will definately be going back.

Christmas stay

A beautiful spacious house, nicer than in the photos. Comfy bed and we appreciated the Christmas decorations. Had a nice wakk past the lake and up the hill in to the woods.

Great time

Enjoyed the country atmosphere. Walks around the lake. Conversation with locals, etc. Very relaxing after spending days sightseeing in the area.
