The whole house was spotless. Lots of room to relax both inside and outside. The house was lovely and warm on arrival and immediately felt so cozy. Location was brilliant, within a small walking distance to shops, cafes, and the paddle steamers. Would have no hesitation in returning for another stay or recommending to friends. Host was lovely!

My friends and I getaway once a year for a catch up. We loved this house and couldn’t fault it. It was clean, spacious, walking distance to the Main Street and to the river. We loved the charm of the property and we wouldn’t hesitate in booking this property again or recommending it. 10/10

Everything was perfect for our stay. My elderly parents were with us & it was perfect for them, it was warm enough, no stairs, walk in showers, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. It was everything we needed & more. Such a warm, comfortable vibe in the perfect location.

Ruston House is a lovely, super clean property. The heaters were on when we arrived which made it feel very cosy and inviting. The beds were nice and comfortable. There was milk and a bottle of local wine in the fridge which was greatly appreciated. The house is in a fabulous location. We walked down a laneway next to the neighbouring house and arrived at the Murray river. A walking path leads you to the port area in one direction or a scenic trail in the other. The outside areas are lovely and well cared for. We sat in the sun on the front veranda and it was so relaxing. We would definitely recommend staying at Ruston House.

How refreshing to find a property that is so well kept and in perfect condition.Every attention to detail taken care of down to the welcome bottle of chilled wine in the fridge and air conditioning turned for our arrival. Home away from Home

Our 3 night stay was great. We could not have asked for a better place. Such a gorgeous house and perfect location. Every little detail was thought of, from the torch at the key box, to the soap/shampoo etc in the bathrooms and the kitchen condiments and the house smelt amazing when we walked in. We will be back.
