"NEEDS IMPROVING. The location was fantastic, however there are several things that need work and whoever cleans the flat would know this. The freezer section of the refrigerator is one solid block of ice, pushing open the freezer door. It's so bad that a person needs to make sure the fridge door is closed. "The appartment was not clean, an heavy smell of sewer. Many places in the apartment was really dirty: bathroom curtain, oven and fridge was destroyed. There were dirty bed sheet in a wardrobe entrance. The wifi password was not given to us and after our arrival we had no answer at all from the property. Hopefully we have booked only one night. I do not recommend this place."

"The house has many good points but overall it all felt a bit cheap and tacky, and like the host was cost cutting at every opportunity. For example, the shower gels offered were all little tiny bits left behind by other guests. Some instant coffee was left. It was a tiny amount, just enough for the 6 adults to have one cup of coffee. Just all a bit mean. The house was very hot and there were no fans. Although we shut the curtains they were so flimsy the sun and heat still got through...

"We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff.
